It is liberating to think for yourself.

I don't think it is as long as you know there is a higher being, God. I myself am still confused on what religion I am. I was raised a catholic, catholic school and all, but I find it a little hypocritical. Because I was raised a catholic though, I always find myself going back to that. Like say, something bad happens, out of habit I do the sign of the cross. When I pray, I pray to the catholic God but I do not follow the catholilc religion, does this mke sense? The catholic religion is more of an instinct to me, rather than faith but I do believe in a higher power so to answer your question, no it's not bad to be 'unlabeled' when it comes to religion.

No, even if you believe the Bible, the word religion means; a set of beliefs concerning the cause, nature, and purpose of the universe, esp. when considered as the creation of a superhuman agency or agencies, usually involving devotional and ritual observances, and often containing a moral code governing the conduct of human affairs.
Today most Christian religions actually have nothing to do with the Bible or it's guidelines or rules. The fact that most people in America think it is OK to kill shows this very plainly. No where in the new testiment does it say it is OK to kill and in fact very much the opposite is true or committing aduletry; Matt.5: 28But I say unto you, That whosoever looketh on a woman to lust after her hath committed adultery with her already in his heart. Matthew 5:39 But I say unto you, That ye resist not evil: but whosoever shall smite thee on thy right cheek, turn to him the other also. Also in our court rooms today they ask you to swear on a Bible and the Bible teaches not to swear at all; Matt.5:34But I say unto you, Swear not at all; neither by heaven; for it is God's throne: ... You should do what you know and think is right, not what any religion says, read books and make your own descisions, not follow other men blindly. Religions protects people from God and this was never the purpose of religion. You are better to be an athiest or agnostic til God speaks to you or you are following men insted of God. Many people do this so they can" Go to Heaven". But it really does not work like that.

i dont think it is bad! i dont attend any church because of the evil done to me in a church.
I perceived the practice of sorcery and mental torture in the name of righteousness! I couldnt handle what was Inflicted on me so i rebuked everyone and left, or rather i left and then rebuked everyone.
I came to the conclusion that if being in church is MORE evil than being left out and UnNumbered than indeed, it might be a blessing to not believe in any religion!.
however the bible does say do not forsake the gathering of the saints.
Well i respond tell me where the saints are gathered and i will go there. until then, there are only two churches, the church of satan and the church of the lamb. All churches fall under these two categories, and it may just be possible that many churches are assembled unto the name of satan even though their lips speak the name of christ.
the conclusion is that all the people of God who join the churces of satan do so because theyare deceived by sorcery. see rev 18:23 and verse 4

As long as u are content with urself and the way u live ur life,u can believe or not believe in whatever u want.We have the right to choose. We just have to remain true to ourselves, listen to uor hurts.I,for example, believe in God,i go to church&everything . I do not consider sins all the things that the church says that are evil.I guess i'm more liberal.I am a moral person, but sometimes i question many things, and i do what i feel, and not what my religion thought me.IU should live ur life the way u want to,otherwise u will not be happy. If u feel that something is not right, then don't do it.JUst follow ur instinct.LOVE

for some people.....some people need to believe that there is something greater than them to motivate them to be a better person among other things. They have more hope and comfert in life for certain things. i.e. when someone dies people always say "they're in a better place" because it helps comfert you when dealing with the death.

I don't have a religion, I have been listening to other people's religions and why they are part of them, but nothing I've heard yet has convinced me that I'll be a better person or accomplish more by believing in god or being part of a religion

Each person has a religion. The religion does not mean just to believe in God, I think that the religion is a way of life.

So, as long as you have good manners it's not bad not to have a religion. People just have to learn how to respect each other inspite of their different ideologies.

It's bad to believe in one. But don't jump on me just yet!
It may not be bad to believe the tenets, teachings of a particular faith, I'll stay open on that, but so many become attached to the trappings, the rituals, the peripheries of the faith, and make them their god.
The type of hymn, the form of Sunday service, a dress code...
That should not be believed in, but frequently is the focus of attention and comfort.

It depends on how a person uses that religion.

For me, it is good. It gives me a place within the history of my people with their G-d, and their working for a better world for all. Reading the Tanakh (what Christians call the OT) gives me a great history book.

It's not bad at all. You have the right to make up your own mind, rather than having some guy in a Brooks Brothers suit and a Rolex watch tell you what to think.

Ä° give you right information. All others are wrong believe to me:After our world life starting eternal life.Death is same like we born to world. We die and finish our world life and enter to eternal life. But there you will see only two ways of eternal life:Hell or heaven.Ä°f you believe to Ä°slam you will enter to heaven suppose you havent sins. But if you are Christ you will enter to 2.level of hell forever.Jew will enter to 3.level other religious to 4.level religious of fire
to 5.level nonbelievers 6.level Satans and big sinners to 7.level.This is very very bad place.
