Of course not silly!
You have to through all the computer parts into hot water and make a computer soup, then the computer will become alive and evolve! But it will take millions and millions of years.

The reason is simple: evolution happens without an intelligent designer. Therefore you cannot expect any sort of material to form an intelligently designed object just from scratch. On the other hand, if you provide your pile of parts with the ability to reproduce (this could be difficult with anorganic matter), if there is a certain rate of mutations in the reproduction process, if there is selection pressure and you watch the process for several million years, who knows?
Do you want an example where evolution still happens, every day? Go to a hospital and ask the personnel where multi-resistent bacteria come from. They should easily be able to convince you that evolution is very real, and very present.

no. the gruesome duckling replaced into consistently a swan and replaced into no longer born as one creature then grew into yet another. this wouldnt be evidence for evolution besides through fact evolution happens over tens of millions of generations and in basic terms alterations especially minor aspects. so in reality no the tale has abolsutely no evidence of evolution what so ever in spite of the shown fact that it does has the ethical that even nonetheless you're born a definite way and are diverse doesnt mean you have the quick end of the stick. x

So your theory is that if people evolved (through billions of years of reproduction and mutation), scrap electronics must too (over a few years sitting in a pile). Does that mean your pile of scrap electronics believes in god? After all, people do.

Evolution does not work with inanimate objects. Plus, evolution takes millions of years, rather than just years. Try doing some research on the subject.

For the Muslim there is no need for separation between religion and science. It is understood from the Quran, revealed over 1,400 years ago, that there is both; "Creation" and "Evolution." And in both instances, it is only Allah who is "Able to do all things." In fact, it was the Muslim scientists, more than 1,000 years ago, who set the stage for the adancement of learning, technology and disciplines in science that we know today.
Allah has explained how He created everythng in the universe and brought all life out of water. He created humans from earth (not monkeys) and there is no need to attempt fabrications of "links" to the animal world in Islam.

I've had two computers on my desk for years. They've never mated and produced a litter of laptops. Replication is the key to evolution.

Another voice without a real clue about evolution heard from. No reproduction, no survival instinct and no life force.
I'm gonna be nice and not take the easy bash on you.

Create a process of mutation for these scrap parts and a selection process and perhaps you'll start seeing something.
Evolution requires reproduction. Can scrap parts reproduce.
Think genius.

Do your scrap parts pray every Sunday to Bill Gates in the hopes that when they die they go to silicon heaven. What's that? You don't believe in silicon heaven. But then where do all the calculators go when the batteries die?
