... I think rock the boat as much as possible. Comics is such a great form, nobody's ever pushed it as far as it will go; how much data can you cram into a comic strip? It's open ended...

Goblin: Your comics were really ahead of their time because that was the time of Love and Peace. Those hippies were shocked.

Wilson: Zap! Comics happened in the summer of love, 1968 - it's more radical now than it was then. Because there's all this repression now...

Wilson: It has happened. What they do is bust the guy who sells it and put pressure on him. So a billion people may want to look at a comic, but if one blue haired old lady doesn't want you looking at a comic she calls the smut squad, and they close the store down. Ironically enough the artist doesn't go to the bucket. There's still this repression going on. I think it's going on now on a grander more insidious scale than it ever was. It's still going on; they want to control the media, TV, etc.

Goblin: But do you think they'll succeed?

Wilson: I think they are. Every time you see a video store going up -- essentially these movies are just mega-corp ads for toys and whatever -- just generic pap written by computers -- and every time you see one of those go up you see a library go down. I predict in ten years it will be illegal to not have a television. They'll drag you off to jail if you're caught reading. I don't have a TV. But I read a lot...

'Control the images, control the machine'. Blacks used to get punished and marked as dangerous for being able to read, so they couldn't find 'Exodus' and stuff...

Like any organization with a bureaucracy, control over the media of information is desired.

Fortunately, none own it. Anarchy is a good thing when it comes to ideas, no?

I'm sure they wish they did because they're so into power and control and oppression of anything "free" -
I bet you could get a better answer if you:
Say 25 Hail Mary's, 15 Our Father's, kneel before you get into the pew, cross yourself 100 times, dip your fingers in the "holy" water, choke yourself with incense, don't eat meat on Fridays,
don't get a divorce, don't be gay, don't get an abortion, give lots of money and keep abuse on young children a secret.
Give me a break!
They are the most ridiculous organization world wide.
Of course this is only MY opinion.

I think that they think ,they own the entire world, the universe and yes-the Internet. But that's only what they think. What they don't know is that if we would sell all the riches they have taken away from others through out time we could probably end world hunger.
So wouldn't that be a Christian thing to do?

No. Ultimate control of the Internet lies with the American military. They created it and, in the so-called "Free World", can pull the plug anytime.

Neither of it! The internet neither belongs to nor created by the church!

Nope. The Holy Roman Empire in the form of Nazism would be ruling the world if they did.
