And who will turn away from the religion of Abraham but he who makes a fool of himself. Him did we choose in this world, and in the next he will surely be among the righteous.

I am certain that I will not become a Christian because of anything anyone says on here and I seriously doubt that anyone else will. The people who have already found a good path for themselves are highly unlikely to convert no matter what anyone says. Maybe if more Christians here were Christ-like they'd inspire some people who are still looking for something to look better into Christianity, but the way many Christians here represent their religion I think they're just driving people away from even looking into the Christian path.

Not a chance. At this point I am so disgusted with what people have said and the way non-Christians have been treated on here there is no chance I will ever again become Christian. While I don't agree with Islam either I have always been treated with the utmost respect by them. Perhaps Christians should learn something from them.

No, I don't come here to learn about Christianity. I already know about Christianity being raised as one and having attended church every Sunday, bible studies and Christian schools for a good portion of my life. Quite frankly, I think Christians who try to persuade others are mentally unbalanced and on the verge of religious fanaticism. Live and let it be. Those who want to become Christians will through their own choice not because some crazed individual is screaming hell fire and damnation or another less threatening yet equally crazed individual is singing "Jesus loves you this I know for the Bible tells me so..." or talking about "God's love". Of course, these sorts of techniques do well when people are down whether it be lonely or something else. Just look at how cults attract followers!

As a Buddhist the answer for me is obvious.
The questions raised by some christians are valid ones but only from their perspective and unfortunately most show intolerance towards any other Faith or ideology.
It makes for refreshing reading when one sees some christians being tolerant but this is rare indeed. I feel sad that some folks don't like me because of my outlook and it actually upsets me to learn that some feel sorrow for me, Please....No....do not I say but my pleading is unheeded...
The saddest part for me is the intolerance shown, I hope that all on this board learn tolerance. Realise that all here, christians, Atheists, Muslim, Seikh, Mother Earth and all others are all on the Path....perhaps if we show tolerance we'll not Need to convert as then understanding will prevail, understanding that all who are participating in whatever Path will reach the same goal...that of a true human with an enlightened soul...freedom...choice....I am pro choice providing that choice doesn't detract from another's choice and those choices take us to the same goal....can we hope for that...?

No, definitely not. I have no intention of becoming a Christian, nor do I think that any debates here will convince me to become one. It is not because I am ignorant of Christianity, atheistic, close-minded or satanic.
The simple reason is, because I already believe in Jesus Christ and that the Bible is inspired. I am a Baha'i, and the Baha'i Faith teaches that all religions come from the same source and are stages in one progressive process of divine revelation to humankind. Only the non-essential elements of religion change, such as outward ordinances and the teachings are always couched in a language which people of that time and place can understand.
Jesus is the CHRIST, the Image of God as it says in the New Testament. He is a perfect human being, the return of all previous prophets and Manifestations of God. Muhammad, likewise, is the Image of God and return of Jesus Christ.
A Christian is someone who accepts Jesus Christ but does not accept Muhammad. A Muslim is someone who accepts Jesus Christ and Muhammad but not Baha'u'llah. A Baha'i is someone who accepts all the previous Manifestations of God and Baha'u'llah as the Promised One of all religions.
Baha'u'llah is the Return of Christ in the Glory of the Father and the Inaugurator of a new world civilization. He has brought a new vision for world unity and peace. He said: "The earth is but one country and mankind its citizens." Please see the following website to find more information.

Well obviously they'd have to tell us something we don't already know. Quoting the bible and threatening us with Hell hasn't worked so far, and the definition of insanity is repeating the same behaviour and expecting a different result. Well it isn't really the definition of insanity, but it sounds clever. Anyway it would be arrogant so simply say 'no, you'll never convince me'. Suffice to say that nothing any of these Christians are basing their faith on would be enough to convince me to do the same.

Maybe quite the opposite. Non-believers, at least this one, has heard thousands of sermons and has read books on all major religions. When I ask myself if this is logical, does this make sense, how is this possible ? I always come up short.
Those on Yahoo answers who are trying to convince non-believers never come up with anything convincing. It's always the same song - - - it says in chapter whatever.
Being in print is not proof of anything. Come up with something new. Explain the trinity in language that can be understood by those of us who are not too bright.
If Allah is your God, great ! show us some evidence, anything however flimsy, but not just print. Same with YHVH.
You want incarnition, great - - where's the evidence ?

No. I see nothing in it that's worth converting for. The religion itself is no different than any other group. It's just as much "part of the world" as everything else is. And when I see people who are more worried about appearing to be more right than others, it turns me off. Why would I want to join a group that only concerns itself with pointing out the flaws in the other people and standing proudly saying "I'm saved and you're not"?

Of course there is a slight possibility. I am definitely an atheist, but if anyone shows me that there is a god, of course I will convert. But I would ask for very convincing evidence to do that. Not for spiritual chit-chat, not for any books or texts with ambiguous mumbo-jumbo, but evidence which stands reproducible scientific tests. And there is no such evidence because there is no god.
