Does anybody know about any influences the Arab American Culture had on American culture. I'm taking American Multiculturlism and I need to know something because I can't find anything on the internet. Things I need to know. Food, technology, music,history,shelter,economy, communications,government, relgion. If anyone knows some of these please dont hesitate to respond.

I'm a 25 year old male in Britain who has just moved to a new town. I don't know anyone in the area so I thought I would join a club of some sort, or an evening class, or something which allows me to meet people who are mainly my age. Trouble is I can't think of what interests me. Any ideas of what I could join? This means a lot to me so I would really appreciate all of your help! Thanks!!

helping someone less fortuniate this Christmas . Please try to come up with things that don't cost much as we barley had enough to get our grandchildren gifts this year . We do have some food in the fridge . and a roof over our heads , so I feel that we can do something to help , but what ?

It's Christmastime and I'm looking to find something to buy for my dad. He's always in his wheelchair and has limited access to parts of the house. I want to get him something special so he can feel more like part of the family. Maybe some inspirational stuff would help because he often feels hopeless. I have not been on Yahoo Answers for a couple months. At the time I got totally disgusted with the LGBT section. It was just full of the homophobic cute stuff and then some of the outright hate.

I tried to get Yahoo to do something. I suggested that some Gay/Lesbian rights groups take up the cause. Put some pressure on Yahoo to make it a viable section. It would really be quite easy--just have someone monitor it 24/7 and immediately delete the garbage.

I tried to through questions and answers to rally some support from other users.

But, I guess, like me, most serious users have just given up on the forum. I went through the questions and I would be surprised if even 10% of them are legitmate.

So did the hate mongers win here?

You're just a human being. You could be wrong.
And don't tell me that your book can't possibly be wrong.... because other religions try making that exact same claim. It gets old, and juvenile.

Is it because most of society in Christian, and Islam has only one god? But if the Muslims do all the wars and bombings, why are they more excepted? Hindus don't do anything wrong. The Muslims probably were the ones who bombed all those places in India some time ago in like March.

Just a question out of complete curiosity aimed at (White) couples who've adopted Asian kids.

Why do you think this is a fairly common combo?
I don't know about elsewhere, but in large cities, you see it quite often.

Ideally, I feel ALL kids who need to be adopted should be considered, but that's not the real world, is it?

Absolutely not!. Please visit Jesus saying "I am the way and the truth and the life..." doesn't prove that he is the Creator of the Universe. Jesus promised and guaranteed Paradise to non-trinitarians.

There is not a single Verse in the New Testament where Jesus promises hell fire to those who are not Christians.

Jesus was mostly concerned about teaching good ethics and morals to his followers. Let us look at few quotations of Jesus from the New Testament:

Matthew 5:5-7 "Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they will be filled."

Matthew 5:6-8 "Blessed are the merciful, for they will be shown mercy."

Matthew 5:7-9 "Blessed are the pure in heart, for they will see God."
