That's a very sweeping statement. Do you have the authority to speak for several million people? I have my own ideas on other people's cultures, some good, and some bad. I also have my own ideas of British culture, but they are only my own, I cannot speak for other people, because I don't know how others feel about such things. There may be a general consensus, but it doesn't mean we all think the same thing. As for me, I've never had a problem with America, Americans, or American culture. Indeed, I even used to believe that I had more in common with Americans than Europeans, but in the light of several similar questions to this one, I am beginning to change my point of view. The arrogant view that Britain is being Americanised, just about tops it off. We're not here to be 'terraformed' into an America friendly environment, we have our own culture, which after all, is what America was founded on!

Food: shish kebab, baba ghanoush, for example
Music: All of western music originates in the middle east. Bagpipes probably come from the ancient civilization of Akkad. Neapolitan music originates in the middle east.
The Spanish language is a good part Arabic based. Their J sound is not European, it is Arabic.
Over 1,000 pages of ancient Greek literature would have been lost to time if the Arabs hadn't preserved it, translated it, and added their own philosophical commentary.
History: Latin Europe was in the dark ages while Arab/Muslim Spain was enjoying a highly cultured civilization (which was totally destroyed by the Holy Roman empire by 1492)
The introduction of thoroughbred horses into Europe
Some modern English words entered the language from Arabic, like algebra and sofa
Also, a lot of the ancient Greeks' advancements in mathematics were due to what they had learned when traveling in the middle East
The people of Ur were remarkable astronomers
That's all I can think of at the spur of the moment, but it should be enough to get you started

Let's see... do you use Roman Numerals? If not, thank the Arabic number system.
Do you enjoy coffee? Coffee originated from Arabia -- the "arabica" bean is a mainstay of coffee.
There are many famous Americans from "Arab" culture -- Kasey Kasem (American Top 40 radio shows) comes to mind. Former Senator (and Bush cabinet member) Spencer Abraham is Arab-American. Dancer and American Idol judge Paula Abdul has some Arab heritage.
Locally, middle-eastern restaurants have caught on, and are starting to rival Italian and Chinese restaurants in popularity.
PS - there is no one "Arab" culture. The whole concept of "Arabs" came about in the 20th Century -- go watch the movie "Lawrance of Arabia" for more insight.

Thanks to them, the concept of zero was introduced. They were the authors of algebra algorthus, square root and cube root. They thought up the solar calendar showing the relationship of the moon and the sun, etc. that gives us the basis of the present calendar, with 364 days corrected each year, instead of 365 days corrected each fourth year. I also have to mention the discoveries in perfume, alcohol, sulphuric and nitric acid, It was in the Arab land that man first organized into a settled form of society, cultivating grain and raising livestock, establishing cities and promoting diverse skills and occupations.
Modern European languages, such as Spanish, Portuguese, French, Italian and English owe a great debt to Arabic. The English language itself contains many words borrowed from Arabic: algebra, alchemy, admiral, genius, ghoul, mare sherbet, soda and many others
