Jesus wore sandals. I also notice religious people getting offended about almost anything on this forum. Do they have longer toes, which makes it easier to step on them?

In all my question I've always tried to use disclaimers and non-offensive words. Yet, still people manage to take offense.

I don't truly care they take offense, don't get me wrong. I just wonder what causes it. And I wonder if you realise that taking offense so easily is ruining a very valuable forum.

And I know, also atheists get offended, I'm not blind. I just wanted to use the sandals-metaphore. But this question is of course meant for everybody.

In other words: What is left of the meaning of a Religious section, when every question needs a long disclaimer in order to prevent people from getting offended?

I see these commercials to buy things like laptops and digital camcorders as holiday gifts for people and it makes me clutch my chest. Okay, I'm cheap and I know it, but that seems WAY out of line. On the other hand, I'd have to smack myself if I gave my mom a box of chocolates.

So, what's considered appropriate?

See, so you cannot call yourself Muslims anymore, cause I have the latest religion which claims we are all born to serve the Pig God as Piglians. You might think this is insane retroactive stupid logic like stupid followers of the insane warlords religion (the "religion of peace") but I assure you this insane logic is now good logic...so sayeth the Pig God.

I read where California does not allow school children to be classified as male or female because they need to have the freedom to choose without discrimination! Let's take it all the way and not force people to be classified as humans. That way, I will not have to pay taxes, etc...

I have been living in the same adress for 5 years and since the first night my neigbhours make a lot nuissance. They live in the top floor. I already complain about it to the concierge, to the Neigbhour Office , to the head of house department and to the police but nothing work. I have tryed to be they friend and they refuse it. They are African and they are Evangelic, by the way of they shouting and what they shout (Alleluia). Horewer, I really don't mind noone busisness, but at midnight!? I woke up again one hour again, therefore I am writing this . I can't move out from here because I am with dss and to get a private house seems impossible, i have been trying it as well swapping too, but so far, nothing. I am getting crazy, I gave up my work, I gave up my studies because I just can't have peace with such kind of nuissance early morning (4,6 am) and midnight. Please, give me some suggestion of what i could do.

Not all the time of course. THey are excited new mothers and I am happy for the new things in their lives. I am also a big part of their kids lives: throw them showers, babysit, etc. But once in a while I need my old friends as friends, not moms, especially because I don't have any of my own. This goes with my inlaws too, who are obessed with my huband's sisters toddler.
