Get some jars and make up all the ingredients for chocolate chip cookies. Put these in a jar with the directions on what to add and what temperature to bake.

Using this idea you could have the ingredients for hot chocolate, including the little marshmallows

My ideas:

1. Make journals using a hard construction paper as a cover, and writing paper as pages. Then you can put the family members name on the front. And maybe add some stickers.
2. Buy plain white mugs and paint the family members name on the front.
3. Buy a box of ornaments and use glitter glue to write there intials on the ornament.

Go to the craft store and see what they have. You can make alot of nice things out of crafts. Things that look really expensive. I have seen some of the stuff pretty nice. You would never have guess that they were hand crafted. Or hand made. You can also make some really nice candles. There not hard to make. They make great gifts. Besides it's the thought that counts. Right.

Any kind of baked goods would be nice.or if you have a nice photo of yourself and them, you can make copies and go to the dollar store and get frames for very little money. You can look on Oriental Trading co and they have lots of craft projects that are very inexpensive

If you want something nice.. and cheap.. see if you have a Belk's in your area... for $14.99 they have a sweet crystal lotus candle holder centerpiece... I went and got 3 and they are nice, good sized and even have a pillar candle in them so it's like 2 gifts in one... also, our Belk's had some pre-wrapped so it saves you on wrapping paper too.

Last year I made homemade museli for family and friends. I put it in old coffee jars that I decorated. They all loved it and asked me for the recipe!
