Hyenas are large carnivores. From watching documentaries of both wolves and hyenas, I've come to the conclusion that the hyena is more ferocious. The reasons for my opinion. Hyenas attack for food in large pack, they are relentles against taking food from other carnivorous animals such as cheetahs, and lions. They hunt in the night as well as day. They have great sense of smell and attack prey when injure or weak. They climb trees to steal food from other prey. They are opportunistic attacker.
Wolves are predatory carnivores. They have an alpha male that leads the pack. They are territorial and travel long distance to hunt. They are well organize and use strategy when hunting for food.
