At whatever age they stop believing. The world is so cynical, and I'm sure your brothers are intelligent boys. They are already developing their own ideas and personalities. In time (sooner than you think) they may lose faith in so many things as they grow and learn about the world around them. Let them have Santa as long as they like.

The average age that children stop believing in Santa Claus is between the ages of 8 and 10 years old. Of course there are kids younger that find out the truth, and there are kids older that find out the truth, but that's the average. Bringing up kids with Santa because their friends have Santa in their lives can be done, if you teach your children that Santa is a myth from the very start.

I don't really think you shoudl start having them believing in santa. When you do that, your lieing to them, and as they get older either you have to tell them that there is no santa, or let them figure out on their own. And they will be unhappy when they find out you lied them. As for the good age, I'd say about 10 or 11.

That is normal, there are some kids that belive up until some one tells them there is no Santa. If a child wants to belive in Santa and it makes them happy then more power to them. Children seem to posses the ability to belive strongly in things that they can not see. like Santa, Wind, and God. So dont spoil their childhood by telling them their is no Santa

Those who stopped believing in the magic of Santa shouldn't get Christmas presents.

That will cure any disbelievers.
