helping someone less fortuniate this Christmas . Please try to come up with things that don't cost much as we barley had enough to get our grandchildren gifts this year . We do have some food in the fridge . and a roof over our heads , so I feel that we can do something to help , but what ?

i always think that no matter what, you can give of your time. you could help serve meals at a homeless shelter. Chirstmas cheer goes a long way. i hope all goes well.

You could volunteer for Christmas day at a homeless shelter cooking dinner or something like that, or do some voluntary work for the Samaritans or charity . or buy presents for less advantage children there are Charity's that organize those thing usually you get them in shopping centres.
Is there anyone close you know that has no one to spend Christmas with, that you could invite over
If you buy Christmas cards at a charity shop that helps
you could do something like this (see link) if you are in the UK or wherever you are from I am sure there is something similar

Go to a locally owned produce seller and buy a box of fresh fruit. Share it with everyone who looks like they could use a nice turn.
