Just a question out of complete curiosity aimed at (White) couples who've adopted Asian kids.

Why do you think this is a fairly common combo?
I don't know about elsewhere, but in large cities, you see it quite often.

Ideally, I feel ALL kids who need to be adopted should be considered, but that's not the real world, is it?

Personally, I think any child who needs a home should be adopted. However, I'd like to see the adoptable children in the USA get a fair shot no matter what color they are. I don't object to foreign adoption, but let's not forget our own either!

I've thought about that too - A LOT.

Some ppl say it's b/c it's much cheaper to get kids from abroad. That's hard to believe IMO with the travel to Asia, etc.

I personally think most white ppl think Asians are the next best thing to them. White couples would rather adopt white kids, but there aren't that many in the U.S. So they get asians.

very authentic extra and Black born American toddlers are being followed IA from what I really have study there are a selection of ending up in Canada or uk. also often times couples are keen to take a baby who's blended raced and has black in them, yet unwilling to take only a black baby. there turned right into a poster who printed an organization had 8 couples lined up if the baby became bi-racial, yet none needed the baby if it only grew to grow to be out to be black. The question is about white couples keen to take any minority/race baby except a black baby. It’s no longer about PAP desirous to undertake a baby that sounds like them which brings up different subject matters even with the undeniable fact that it’s no longer for the following. after all if a pair needs followed toddlers that ought to resemble them they're going to desire a baby of their similar race era. They wouldn’t be keen to take the different race baby. those who may settle for a baby that became the different race then black, i visit in common words anticipate that some racism exists interior the kinfolk, perchance no longer continually the PAP, or community. in the journey that that they had close kinfolk who were racist or ignorant in the route of black human beings, even lived in a community that became that way, then a black baby being placed in that abode should not be perfect.

I think it has to do with the cheapness of doing it over there. It's hard to adopt a child here, all the waiting and such. But in Asia, they seem very eager to give them to western parents. Sadly, lots of older kids or kids with disabilities here are going unadopted.

The thousands of unwanted, orphaned Asians. That's why. (In a country that's already overwhelmed with other problems)

I honestly think it has to do with the hair. Nappy hair just won't do.
