had forgiven you?

That's easy.
He tells us that He has forgiven us our sins as far as the east is from the west and he will remember them no more.
He can do that because He allowed His Precious Son to get up on that Cross and die for your sins, mine, and everyone Else's.
If you believe He did that then you can surely have peace in knowing that if you are truly sorry for your sins and you repent, He will lovingly forgive you.
It is by the blood of His precious Son that we are truly healed.

You find the answer to that question (and many others like it) by simply reading the Bible, and then trusting Him to be faithful to His promises.

It's nothing you do, that makes you know you're forgiven (other than asking). But it is knowing God, and knowing that He is faithful to His own Word that gives you the assurance you (or we) need.

Simple. If you ask truly from your heart, you are forgiven. Look at how he died on the cross. If he can forgive them, he certainly can forgive you. Can you forgive yourself?

The same way you would know if God was displeased with you in the first place: you don't. Basically you decide for yourself if you think your God would be upset with you then you atone for your misdeeds until you feel that your God is no longer angry.

If God says He will,
He did when you asked Him.

He said in His word He would forgive. So you need to have enough faith to believe what He said in His word.
