Absolutely maybe. I was raised with religion, and turned atheist at age 12. Others were raised without religion, or even in settings hostile to religion, and ended up believing in some 'God'. But I certainly think that the religion of the parents has massive influence over the religion of the child.
A better question is how likely is it that the child of one religion would end up believing in a different religion before adulthood? Veeeeeery unlikely...truth is, we brainwash our kids with religion before they can possibly have an opinion on the matter.

As a Christian, and as the husband of a seminary graduate student, I have to say that Christianity is not exactly the *easiest* religion to follow. In fact, if you're choosing a religion based on enjoyment or ease, Christianity is probably not in the top 3. (And there's a big difference between Catholicism and Protestantism in this regard as well.)
If I had been raised without religion, I would like to think I would have chose Christianity. Then again, I also believe that several other mainstream religions have a lot of things *right*, and I do believe that many of them are in favor with God.

Yes, anyone can become a Christian when they know they are a sinner. Romans 5: 12 Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned: When they hear the gospel and believe that the Lord Jesus Christ died for their sins. 1 Corinthians 15: 3 For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; 1 Corinthians 15: 4 And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:

It's impossible to say, because I was taught my beliefs from the time I was a small child. I am very happy that I was raised by parents who taught me to follow Jesus Christ. Nevertheless, I am no longer completely dependent on the testimony of my parents -- I know that Jesus Christ is the Son of God.

If I still had the same experiences that I have had then I would say yes. I have been through some hard times, and He was always the one thing that stayed with me and gave me hope. I can't help but love Him.

It would depend on how I was raised. If I was raised in a third world country I might very well. Also if I was raised by a poverty stricken uneducated family in the USA I might. These people search for anything better than what they have. xx

You know - the juvenile argument that Christians are brainwashed as children has been around for so long, that it's really become boring. There simply are no facts to support that thinking. Let it go already!
