Shades of Nazi Germany breeding Aryans! What will Evangelicals dream up next?
LADIES, if you have ever wondered if God has a divine plan for your vaginas, wonder no more.
Kathern Joyce At The Nation has an amazing expose’ on “Quiverfull mothers.”

“Quiverfull mothers” try to have UPWARDS of six children. They home-school their families, attend fundamentalist churches and follow biblical guidelines of male headship--"Father knows best"--and female submissiveness. They refuse any attempt to regulate pregnancy.”[Ref. at: www.thenation.com/doc/20061127/joyce]

Quiverfull began with the publication of Rick and Jan Hess's 1989 book, A Full Quiver: Family Planning and the Lordship of Christ, which argues that God, as the "Great Physician" and sole "Birth Controller," opens and closes the womb on a case-by-case basis. Women's attempts to control their own bodies--the Lord's temple--are a seizure of divine power.
NO USE OF ANY METHOD OF BIRTH CONTROL EVEN FOR MEDICAL

Having the "need", but being denied it till they are of "age"? But we do
it anyway. And telling us we're "bad", and threatening us with Hell, drives us
nuts!

Islam is the second largest religion in the world, the religion which
was born to propogate love and compassion. But since the end of
last century, terror is being associated with Islam. In Islam killing
oneself or suicide is prohibitive. As per the Islamic laws a person ,
who kills himself will never go to heaven. But a large number of
muslim populace is involved in activities, which are unislamic and
do not have any place in the religion.

Is it consumerism gone wild?
Is it poor diet?
Is it poor exercise habits?
Is it because they like to be obese?
Is it sexy?

Everytime I come home to America I notice that the people are more obese. Even the kids are obese.
And the people are all looking somehow the same. Pudgy faces, 2 to 3 chins, all the figures on men and women interchangeable.
Where is Jack LeLane when you need him?
Richard Simmons is loving it I bet though.
What do you think? Am I crazy or is it like that?

Scripturally, that God promises an "ever burning hell fire" for those who have not lived a good life. Where in the Bible does it say this? This seems to be a pretty common belief, both here on YA, and in the general population. Why do you believe this, if you do?

I work for an out of school provider, for children aged 4-11 during after school care during trem time and school holidays.I am a fully qualified playworker at senior level.and been in this line of work for twelve years.

There are men who work with children such as

teachers
scout leaders
sports coaches
playworker
nannies
summer camp counselors
day care providers

But there are some who belive that any man who works with childern are either gay.a sicko.pervert,pedofile.I know because not only have I had debates on this very subject I have been threatened and called some of these names when people find out my line of work,I could go into the psychology of the importants to see adults working in positive roles, but what are your veiws?...with the ever rising reports of abuse towards children,it makes my job very hard and people start to make asumptions that all men in the line of trust are all "sick'os"

I am having two Thanksgiving dinners at my home. My husband and I will prepare the meals, all guests are relatives. At my oblong oval table, should my husband and I be on each end, or should he be at one head with me next to him (which is closest to the kitchen door)? Also, is there etiquette about where to seat parents for respect?
