I see the word "hate" bantied about here without acknowledgement that it is a provocative word. It exaggerates an argument to an extreme emotional level and abandons the intellectual context of the problem. In truth, if you check, very few statements here indicate hate until someone accuses the other side of hating them.

Is not "disagree with" a belief, argument, or action more reasonable as an expression? Do people really believe when someone holds a different opinion, that difference results in the most extreme emotional reaction possible? Do you feel hated when someone strongly disagrees with you, or instead do you feel hurt, defensive, or misunderstood?
