What should the nation do?

*Fight to the bitter end? Risk complete annexation and destruction for the pursuit of a noble dream of liberty?

*Or sue for peace instead, and keep the few lands we have left, maybe to resume the fight again another day, when the odds are better?

I heard that they are updting the list of the seven wonders, but, it seems to me that the new ones are kinda lame compared to the old ones.

How can Christianity be good if it produces so many pedophiles, etc.? This month, in addtion to Carr, we had Rep. Foley, a Catholic who went to church every Sunday. The Amish killer went to church every Sunday also. What good do these religious teachings do?

I rote about muslims wearing veils a few moments ago and somone has just brought up a good point. Even if the quran(muslim bible)
did say they must have there face covered at all times (which it does not)
When they got there passports how did they have there photo taken without removing there veils. so its alright to remove there veils at the prospect of coming to this country but not if someone politly asks them, very strange isnt it?

Islam in arabic means peace, and peace in English means no war, no killing...so Islam is based on forgiveness, and loving people. then how does Osama bin Laden is affecting on all people, it's impossible for a single man to make the world afraid of him, it's impossible for a man who lives in a mountain makes everybody shivers of him, it's impossible for a man who wears a jacket and long one peice of wool and make the world jump to ceilings afraid of him, lighten up you people.
If the Islam religion was distributed in bombings and killing, people would not accept it, and it should not be recieved by us, coz we hate that, we hate killing, we like to live, we hate scared, we like happiness.
one more thing, Allah means god. Allah is god but in a different language "Arabic" I'm muslim I say "Oh my god" when I'm surprised, God is unsean, God is the creator of the world, it's exactly the same thoughts as Christian and jews.
Please people lighten up, Islam is a good religion.

when a missionary comes up to you at Kroger or wal-mart in the parking lot? are you mean, irritated, or do you accept their pamplets on the bible and pamplets about God and be nice about it? this happened to me by a mormon giving me a pamplet on the 'book of mormon', i dont know much about mormons but he was very nice about it. :) so what would you do?

Pslams 89:35-36..God promises David that his seed shall endure forever, And his throne as the sun before Me.
The last male heirs to David's Throne were killed by King Nebuchadnezzar. Yet Zedekiah had two daughters. My question is this...where did Jeremiah take the two, [tender twigs] daughters to after a stop over in Egypt.(In 1886 a fortess was discovered on the eastern or Syrian frontier of Lower Egypt where the pharaoh had his palace. There in the fortess, a ruin was found, that was called -Kasr el Bint Yehudi-: The palace of the daughters of Juda.
So...where did they eventually end up? They certainly did exsist, or else the promise in Pslams 89:35-36 is null.

Take Christianity. Does this mean that all the other people of the world who believe different religions are going to hell? So you can only go to heaven if you happen to be born in a place where your culture is of predominantly Christian people? Isn't it about faith, and worshipping or believing at ALL that counts? I find it really hard to believe that most of the planet is not going to be saved because they don't follow the bible.....and they don't follow it only because of where they were born or what their parents taught them. How many of you really sat down, looked at all the options and CHOSE to become Christian? Some, sure, but not most. There are many ways to worship and there would be less war if people understood this!
