According to christian teachings,God sent the flood and wiped out everything (except the ark and it's occupants ) because the world had become full of sinners.
Also according to christian teachings, we are all born of sin and therefore we are all sinners.

Many of you will cheer and will be happy in my sorrow I know. But how do you heal from a broken heart. My wife found out about my guy and my being bisexual, she wants to try to save the marriage. She has agreed to allow me to see my guy for 4 times a year and for 4 days at a time. She is being very generous I know but at the same time I realize my guy needs someone in his life full time. I had planned to leave my wife and be that for him but at the same time I have three kids that need me at home at least for another 6 years. He had been willing to wait for the six years when he had that assurance that my marriage was going to end then. Now he doesn't have that assurance and as much as it pained me to do it I told him he was free to find soemone else as long as I could have him occassionally. He told me last night that he has fallen in love with someone and he thinks he could see himself partnered with this guy.

An MCS sufferer develops negative reactions to everyday chemical exposures. It's a progressive neurological disease that can result in death.
Perfumes, hair spray, aftershave, deodorant, some shampoos & soaps; pesticides in gardens, on food & on pets; chemical cleaners; paints; new carpets; diesel exhaust; air fresheners are all toxic to me.
The symptoms are lethargy/fatigue, difficulty concentrating, muscle aches, memory problems, digestive problems, joint pain, extreme headache, tenseness, insomnia, depression, eye irritation, dizziness, chest pain, nausea, rashes & hives.
Fragrances aren't "nice smells" to me they have deprived me of my former role & contact with others.

My problem is that I am rarely taken seriously regarding my "invisible disability" even by some in the medical world. Many are offended/embarrassed that I am made ill by the very products they are wearing or have used in their home/office/ect.

How can I explain myself in a nutshell without causing offence?

Does anyone else find this selfish and annoying?

For instance I was once approached in my local pub by a group of "firefighters" who were going to walk the Great Wall of China for charity. They wanted me to sponsor them, i.e., give them money. When I enquired further I found out that the sponsorship money would pay all their airfares, hotel fees etc and any money LEFT OVER would go to charity.

I think this pattern of behaviour is fairly common, i.e., people doing fairly selfish activities but tying it in with "charity work" in order to get finance. Why don' they do something nearer home, for instance pick up all the needles in the public park "for charity" or something LESS selfish that would benefit the community?

attended a functions, there's an 80 old man who told me this statement, "serrendering yourself to Jesus and when you die, you will go straight to "up there", if you don't that's only one place left, "down there!" I find the statement rather logic defying, and blind- faithed. If mother Teresa was not a christian, she would have gone to hell, and if Hitler was a christian, he would have gone to heaven, does it sound right?

For people who think to be so smart you would think they would come up with original material instead of re-runs about the prophet (PBUH), about the 72 virgins, about terrorism. Yesterday I saw a totally unrelated question (not even having to do with Islam, it was a bout their faith and charity) and they still spoke about Muslims to answer the stupid question. Do they not have something better to do? If they just practice what they preech maybe I would not feel so frustrated. Instead they try to create animosity. May Allah have mercy on everyone Muslim and non-muslims... We do not make fun of you why should you bother us... Practice what you preach.... (If you are worried about the 72 virgins thing then you have bigger problems my friends).

I've just written a letter to my grandfather and i've talked about me for quite a lot of it, about school and things happening in my life etc.
Only at the end have i really asked how he is, and I'm about to talk about the weather? Is that not incredibly rude and embarrassing? To make things worse i've written "I'm sorry i've rambled on about me for so long, it's just theres been quite a lot to say!" - insulting?

Help me!!!

Salam Alaikum Brothers and Sisters,
I am a convert into Islam but still have a lot to learn and have a lot of questions. I have read the whole Quran with the meaning 3 times and came up with a question as to why Islam and Quran permits a husband to beat up his wife for disobeying him?
Why do the rate of Domestic Violence highest among our Muslim Brothers and Sister?
Why do men use the verse from the Quran (4:34) as an excuse to beat their wives?
And what does Quran say about those men who beat their wives? Is there any punishment for them?
Also I have another question that why do men say that there will be majorty of men in the Heaven than women. Why so even after seeing how many men torture and abuse their wives.
This is world known fact I dont want to be rude to my muslim brothers and I know there are some of them who are not the way I am describing alot of them here.
And why do Allah (swt) promised men virgin wves in heaven? What about women? Isnt there a reward for a women
