We christians do sin, and I read a chapter in Revelation says that god will judge us by our sins, if we sinned alot we will be thrown into the lake of fire whether we believe in Jesus or not. I thought if you have Jesus as your personal savior then you're free to go to heaven????

I'm currious as to why various people choose to attack Christians (who seem to have it coming because they can not lay a solid foundation for rebutal) with arguments that are the same each time.
Examples of this are: My religion is older than yours. This is only true as far as the Hebrews didn't write down their traditions for thousands of years. Oraly what they said could be counted on to be true. The Hebrews and Egyptians both took pride in making sure future generations would know their past.
To those of the Islam faith. You do believe that Jesus was a prophet, correct? Recent Dead Sea scrolls have atributed Jesus as saying there will be no prophet after me. These scrolls were written by people who did not believe in Jesus or God, but were pagans and Romans. Explain this please, as you claim Islam is the one true religion.

1) Being gay is not natural. Real Americans always reject unnatural things like eyeglasses, polyester, and air conditioning.

2) Gay marriage will encourage people to be gay, in the same way that hanging around tall people will make you tall.

3) Legalizing gay marriage will open the door to all kinds of crazy behaviour. People may even wish to marry their pets because a dog has legal standing and can sign a marriage contract.

4) Straight marriage has been around a long time and hasn't changed at all; women are still property, blacks still can't marry whites, and divorce is still illegal.

5) Straight marriage will be less meaningful if gay marriage were allowed; the sanctity of Britney Spears's 55-hour just-for-fun marriage would be destroyed.

6) Straight marriages are valid because they produce children. Gay couples, infertile couples, and old people shouldn't be allowed to marry because our orphanages aren't full yet, and the world needs more children.

7) Obviously gay parents will raise gay children, since straight parents only raise straight children.

8) Gay marriage is not supported by religion. In a theocracy like ours, the values of one religion are imposed on the entire country. That's why we have only one religion in America.

9) Children can never succeed without a male and a female role model at home. That's why we as a society expressly forbid single parents to raise children.

10) Gay marriage will change the foundation of society; we could never adapt to new social norms. Just like we haven't adapted to cars, the service-sector economy, or longer life spans.

I live in apartments. They just got took over by a big company. They are making a lot of new rules. They have also implemented a 10:00 pm curfew. They say that you HAVE to be in your apt. by 10 or if you get caught being out you will get evicted. There have been several people that got eviction notices already from just walking to their apt. from visiting a friends apt, or just going to check the mail. I am protesting this curfew. Actually, I, myself am never out past 10, I just happen to think that this is very very wrong. What is your opinion and what can be done to put a stop to this?

Most models are extremely skinny some are slighty weightier but you never see big people on cat walks. why is this? is society that bad that we set the example to the next generation that to be skinny is to be accepted but to be even slightly overweight is completely unacceptable?
