My friend has never said no to me when I asked for help and that is the way A friendship should be ......But my friend is 23 weeks pregnant And she wants to get an abortion because she broke up with her Fiance and Asked me for the money ........I feel I am helping her Murder Don't get me Wrong I am Pro Choice But 22 weeks is very far along ....I would only agree that is was not murder if the mothers life was in jeopardy ....But my friend is healthy
If I say no than that would mean I am not loyal to her as she to me because she has always been there for me
So I can't say No But does that mean I am part of the murder or Its not my problem where the money is going

I struggle and feel I will never be happy. The man I married seems very self-centered at times and all we do is argue. My daughter is depressed (and I think I am too) and our family life is so unhappy, yet we have every reason to be happy in many ways. I wish my husband would agree to go to church or something because life seems to have no meaning and I often think that if we had some kind of religious or spiritual core we would be happier. My husband is an atheist and I have a hard time believing specific dogma. I am a Unitarian at heart but I still struggle with life's meaning and how to function in day-to-day life when life just seems so hard.

I saw a documentary a long time ago about the one child rule in China and it was so horrific. Considering, there is a one child rule there most couples don't want a girl, therefore they give them up for adoption. That is where it gets sad, as they become a ward of the country, and these homes are so terrible. A journalist snuck this film out, which is unbelievable in its self. If a child was badly handicapped or had a disease they were put in a room by themselves until they starved to death. You could hear the child screaming and the journalist was not aloud to go in to that particular room, but he was told that was what was going on. Of course this is not something we ever hear about due to China being a communist country. The other children were hardly taken care of either, just a really sad thing. People who say, "why would someone go to another country and adopt when we have kids here who need a home", well our children are not treated this way.

As soon as someone shows some interest towards another Path Immediatly look horrified and either start quoting from the Bible, tell them they are doomed or tell them to go and read the bible. Why can they not leave them to follow thier own faith?

A Muslim explained it this way:

"why are the shiahs killing the sunnis?!!!! they're both killing each other TODAY over who gets to be in charge of Iraq!!!!!!! they are fighting over Political control and NOT because of religion.
the Iraqis have been living under such a weired climate for so long. and they just don't get along so every sect THINKS that they are more capable of running the government.
Shiahs made an alliance with the US Army and therefore Sunnis consider them traitors..
it's a CIVIL WAR!! even the US had one of those. "

So it's a religious war now between the one Islam...the ONE Islam. Hmmmm

I wan told by the school district that the term "Christmas Break" may be offensive to non-christians. I think this is sad that in America, a country of long standing traditions, we cannot refer to the school break in December as either a Christmas break or even a holiday break. It must be referred to as a Winter Break. Sad state of affairs.

I heard Catholics preaching against Yoga, saying it was pagan, and that it called up evil spirits of Hinduism. They criticized everything about my God.

And I was thinking of joining them?!

I'm so frustrated.

I need a spirituality that I can practice openly. And I can't find it. This is annoying.
