will god send me to hell if i dont believe in him?

it sounds kinda harsh especially since its human nature to believe in logic such as science.

ok. does god send non believers to hell? does that make more sense?

i didnt accept or reject god, i just keep an open mind.

Seriously, that's not for anyone here to say. Only God can judge you.

But consider this, if you believe in logic and science, why should God be illogical and unscientific?

1. Logic: a prime mover. If all we know about the universe according to physics is true, the universe should shrink back into the dot before the big bang. Why doesn't this happen? Also, who keeps things real when no one's looking at them?

2. Scientific: There is NO SCIENTIFIC EXPERIMENT that can prove he does or does not exist. That makes the choice to believe a personal one.

But NO ONE can tell you if God is going to send you to hell. That's between you and him.

The problem for me is I believe in fact that there was a Jesus once. But I can't comprehend the whole God thing. Since scientist are proving otherwise about evolution and all. And I'm worried about the same thing as you. (Will I go to hell if i don't join some occult?) But that doesn't give others the right to answer hogwash to you. Yes, there is a hell but there also is a heaven. It just all depends on you. What I can tell you is that as long as you acknowledge that Jesus was real and did something heroic for you, and you accept that when your time comes you can accept that you are protected by his love. And you will receive love back from this being called God.
By the way I'm not religious, but I do know we're given free will for a reason too.

In short--yes. God allows us all to use "free will" to make this decision daily. However, we do not know the exact moment or cause of our own deaths. Nor do we know the exact day and moment that the Son of God will return to Earth. But, since Jesus Christ came to this Earth, suffered bled, and died on the cross (which, by the way was studied by scientists and doctors, both Christian and Secular), and rose from the dead on the third day (witnessed by upwards of 7000 people, both believers and non-believers), and all he asks of you in return is to simply repent and accept that deed for your sins, then, yes--if you remain unrepentant until the day you die, He will have no other choice. By the by, He is not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance. This is NOT religion, either. Jesus actually could not stand the religious zealots of his day, either (you know--the Pharisees and the Sadducee, 2 ancient Hebrew thoughts of religious teaching in those days)--He actually found ways to confound and confuse the high priests and other priests all the time.They believed in ceremony, and He brought a new way. Something new to think about.

Oh, wow! What an idea! My first thought was that God could not control you if you don't believe in Her. My second thought is that I bet the atheists will really like you. My third thought is that if you cater to the atheists, you will go to hell. God works in mysterious ways, doesn't He? You should know that science and God are getting closer and closer together. YES He will. WHY? you have a brain and eyes to see all the creation around you. Painting has a PAINTER. You don't see, smell, or touch the painter but the painting in itself is proof that there must have been a painter. BUILDING=BUILDER, CAR=CAR MANUFACTURER. Make sense? NOW...Look at the complexion and perfection of CREATION. How can you say there is no God or creator? It's only common sense.

Ok, now another thing that screams to you that you will be judged: your conscience. God took the time to write His perfect law, the 10 commandments on your heart. SO that you will be without excuse. Because each time you lied(9th), stolen, blasphemed (use God's name in vain), committed adultery(even looking at someone with sexual desires qualifies as adultery in God's eyes), dis-honoring your parents, making a graven image of God(even thinking that a "loving" God will never send someone to hell, is already making a graven image in your own mind...breaking the 2nd commandment), hate someone withouth cause(same as murder in God's eyes), etc. Just take yourself through each one of the commandments and see for yourself how many times you have broken them. We all have. Our conscience is witness against us. Why do we feel guilty each time we break the commandments?

Then when you realize how wretched and sinful you are before a Holy, Perfect, Righteous God, look up at the blood-stained cross of Jesus Christ who came down to take your and mine punishment on the cross. He died 2000 years ago for you and me, so that God the Father's perfect wrath won't be cast down on us. Repent and put your trust in Jesus Christ the savior.

Hi, Yes off course, PRADISE and HELL are the final destination without choice. Man or science and technology in their own limitations can’t answer this things/believes/struggle. Only thing left for the mankind is to find out from the ONLY ONE CREATOR that created everything that exists.
The thing is people don’t know what to follow. They follow something that haven’t said by Jesus (peace be upon him PBUH) himself. The solution to this is to do a research and find out the AUTHENCITY of the source or the books. It is not at all difficult in today’s world.
In Short: The ONLY PURE ORIGINAL WORD OF GOD is left on the phase of the planet is the HOLY QURAN that came with the prophet 1400 years ago without any SINGLE LETTER corrupted, that Guides, Faith with Proof, shows way of life, tells in details the mission of prophets including Jesus (peace be upon him PBUH), gives answers to all questions, solutions and tells much in details of what will be going to happen (past, present and future) and the purpose of existence, etc. The WORD OF GOD came with the SAME MESSAGE through prophets (from first prophet Adam to last prophet Mohammad (PBU them all) including Jesus (PBUH) and only person to interpret is the prophet of GOD at that time. Unlike HOLY QURAN all the other Books are corrupted and are not in the PURE ORIGINAL WORD OF GOD that’s is due to the handy work of Jinn/Devil and also human nature to follow their own desires rather than following the simple message of all the prophets that is to believe in ONLY ONE GOD in order to achieve the PURPOSE OF LIFE. In Muslim world there are many books available today in different languages of the ORIGINAL INTERPRETATION of the HOLY QURAN by the prophet of GOD about 1400 years ago that is the only interpretation that has to be follow to be the true follower of the prophet as commanded by GOD and the ONLY WAY to SUCCESS that is both in this WORLD and ETERNAL PARADISE. Actually would it be Satin Peter. You see Peter is the keepr of the gate to the kindgom of heaven. However I believe that the Son of God will accept you into the kingdom of heaven.

Now we can also go with George Carlin's view too. We're all here on Earth making $13.75 for each hour that were alive and when we die we go to haven and Stain Peter deducts an amount for our sins from the balance. If you have a postive balance we're allowed into heaven.

It's like this: Mankind is born heading to hell, Jesus died and rose from the dead to make a way to save us from our lost condition, but He leaves the choice up to you; it is a path of truth and believing truth. Either you follow the father of lies or the Father of Light, your choice!
