I have been doing some research for school, and I have some deep misconceptions about Islam. It started as a project evaluating Christian-Muslim relations in light of the Iraq war, but there is a lot of evidence supporting this. Muhammed himself was a fanatical warrior. Makes you wonder.
Only people who have research this topic reply and it's not meant to be justify anything but only to help me understand.

I understand humor its one of my best qualities, but on a deeper level, are we not to be planting seeds and helping resolve our fellow mans experiences with our own, with the wisdom or knowledge we have aquired.??? you can still have fun while helping others, even if it is only a smile or a word of advice. Mankid will never invent something as great as God. It's the ultimate seller to those who can't believe in themselves and need a crutch. Crutches don't sell well to people who think they can walk just fine, you just have to convince people they can't walk or have been walking the wrong way forever, then those crutches fly out the door! God is the greatest creation of man, not the other way around.

This does not seem like someone who is ready to die for our sins, moreover Jesus(pbuh) clearly, I repeat, clearly calls out to his God, not to himself. Why is that?
Moreover, I would like someone to provide me with an unequivocal statement saying that Jesus(pbuh) is God. I would like one aside from, My Father and I are one, that is too nebulous for me. Such a matter of tremendous importance should not be unclear.

its so sad to see so many Muslims getting Islam confused with culture and culture confused with Islam.
like for example honor killings.that is a cultural practice.but many Muslims confuse it with something islamic.and the hijab some say its culture but its islamic.or i heard one whacked out thing where in pakistain the mother of he groom will wait outside his door for her son to bring a tissue of blood to prove the girl he married was a virgin.and they clam this is islamic?this is something is cultural and preverted.

Hopefully, non Americans can answer this.

Does familiarity breed contempt? Or is it just that weve run out of ideas, and once that happens, people start to get bored with you after awhile. The Japanese used to use Western actors and musicians to be spokesmen for their products, and it was considered stylish, but now they like using other Asian stars. Does this and other things signal the fall of Western Civilization? I think its a very telling sign.

I know alot of people are fed up with America because of its policies, but something tells me its not just the policies anymore, its us. Our music and films are becoming more similar to the world and the world is becoming closer to us, and we meet in the mediocre middle. So theres not much separation anymore.

We dropped a freakin atomic bomb on Japan and 30-40 years later they practically worshipped Americans, pretty remarkable.

I was a Christian, until this July- I lost all my faith then. I started being a Chrsitian, because I was going through a hard time, and I looked on God for help, and things got much better. I loved God. But then, this year, my dad got so mad @ me while he was abusing me (my parents have a really bad anger-management problem), he almost kicked me out of my house. (he didn't tho) And the next month came, with more abuse, and self-hatered, and one night, I thought "why doesn't God help me? WHY DOES GOD LET ME GO THROUGH ALL THIS, WHILE OTHER KIDS DON'T? Does God even love me? Why? Am I not good enough for him? And if I am, and he does lvove me, why does he let me suffer like this?" And since most of my friends are super-good chirstians, the ppl @ my parent's church are mean, I can't tell anyone this, or ask these questions... So if you're a Christian, and you're reading this, please tell me why, and why I should start believeing in God again. Thanks

I don't want to seem like a whore, because you'de have to sleep with someone else to achieve that accomplishment. I love my girlfriend, even though we don't have a very good relationship.

what would you do if you were in the position of Jack Twist? you know feeling something and not being afraid to admit to Ennis, and only hearing an unsure response back from him.

Im asking this because this movie sheds light on what ive got with my best friend. Its like 99% carbon copied- minus the rustic theme. So what would you do in situation like this? there has been a Islamic scholars who have said that the reason why there is so many problems in the Muslim lands is because our disobedience towards Allah. and this is true.
if you look at the majority of muslims lands now they allow such things as drinking,gambling, pre-martial sex,homsexuality, forcing women to take off the hijab and many more(and we wonder why so many bad things our happening to us).do you think its about time we start foucusing on allah and worshiping him instead of blaming the west on the problems with the muslims.

this could a punished on the muslim ummah(allah knows best) and we don't even realize it.

Jews Do you believe in creationism Adam and Eve?

Creationists, have you ever wondered in this world, what ever prevails is usually implemented either by force or by consensus and lastly if it is true.
Darwin and many researchers have conclusively proved evolution by tonnes of research, analysis etc.
1)Apes have finger prints like humans
2)99% of their DNA matches with us
Not only the above facts there is tonnes of more proof.
In all major schools and universities of the World Evolution theory is taught, museums also show the Darwin theory.
If your creationist theory had any base or credibility than should not the US govt and European govt be teaching creationism in all schools and colleges and universities.
Christians in this world are more than a handful of scientist, but have you seen that their work of evolution has prevailed in Knowledge Sectors(schools etc) rather then your theories of creationism.
Scientists have neither used force nor do many reigious people believe in it .Their work prevails because of the fact that it is true and if not true than far more closer to it than creationist theory.

According to the 7 seals in Revelations 6, at which on do you think we are now? I have found that the 7 seals, 7churchess and 7 trumpets have allot in common, so I worked it out on a calander and it seems that we are in the 6th seal. What do you think?
