This is my religion:
Lets look at things this way - I am a citizen of the three physical dimensional (plus the fourth dimension being time) cosmos which itself may be one cosmos in the multitude of multiple dimensional cosmos (plural).
My cosmos contains my universe which contains my local cluster of galaxies which contains the Milky Way Galaxy (My Galaxy), on one of the outer peripheries of one of my galaxy's spiral arms is Sol (my star) which contains my planet Earth which contains the continent of Asia which contains my country India which contains Karnataka - the state in which I currently reside in, which contains my city of residence Bangalore which contains the suburb I live in, which contains the street I live on, which contains my house.
My universe is estimated to be around 10-15 billion years, old, my star -Sol or Sun a middle aged second generation 5 billion year star, life on my planet is estimated to have evolved around 3-4 billion years ago, my species around 2-4 million years ago and I'll consider myself fortunate if I live even for one-tenth of a millennium.
On a cosmic scale, even my galaxy may appear as just a blemish and may be unnoticeable in the fabric of space, and I would not even be the size of a speck- but - the ripple that I (any human) could cause in the still waters (the cosmos) could change the course of history, of space of existence/s. So why should I limit myself to a country or a race or a caste or a religion or a continent or a creed (narration intentionally not in order)? As I said - I am a citizen of the cosmos, or a multitude of cosmos (plural)
There can never be anyone else like me at this point in space in this given instant of time ever. I am unique (and so is every other creature!).
Oh! The Creator of these wonders! I thank thee!
I think the above expalins why I think mine is the best.
Life's Lovely! Love & Live Life!

Since I was raised an only child, (43 now, btw), with black and white tv, an AM radio, and in a small town public school and rode the bus was basically my only contact with the world.......my parents were recluse, I would call it, so I had no religious upbringing, no friends, other relations, or interaction into the world till 16. I am 100% athiest, believe man invented God, (to cover his own insecurities and instill a form of scare factor, I guess you'd say), so people are inclined to abide by those written acts of right and wrong.
I consider myself a pretty honest, ethical, and trusting person, although I don't believe in any religion imposed upon us, or any other cultures, because of willingness or abilities of others to enforce rules.
It's brainwashing from birth, Hell, how can a person brought up in todays society, seeing 9 of 10 people who are devout believers, or Christian maniacs, think any way different! I, luckily, was sheltered and therefore gained the ability to think outside the box, see both sides of the story, and the big picture........because I had been distanced from it, have the complete abililty to step back, see the facts, do what is "morally right", been quite successful in my life, and still, know in my mind the real truth!!!!

It is simple, once you have had a personal relationship with our Lord, you will never have many needs. Your life is complete, and the hole or void in your life is filled. You do not keep getting stuff and then more because you are not satisfied or felt loved. Your marraige is more sacred, and do not feel you need extra contact with others sexually. This means that the two of you have to be on the same wave length, and once that happens, you have a wonderful experience. I canot tell you how to get this personal relationship, except that you must turn all things in your life over to God, and then you are relieved. You do not fear death, or sickness, because you realize that all things must end, and it will when the time comes. You are not afraid of flying, or most of the things that people are afraid of, because if it is meant to be, you will either still be here, or you will be in Heaven. The last time I was told I might have cancer, or the time I had a heart blockage, I just thought, it would be so wonderful to be in Heaven. Our time is limited, and the material things we have or are struggling to get, just do not really matter that much. I know in my heart that God is my friend, and is looking out for me, and if one of my family is taken, I know that it was their time to go home. You just look at things different, and you will always have someone to talk to with the power of the universe. I believe it and have faith. My faith willl never fail me, I know it is there and do not doubt the existance of God and our Lord. God is our Father in Heaven, and remember that our life on earth is short and only a learning place, so just accept it. You will be a lot happier and at peace. You also have to know that there is evil in this world and you cannot avoid it, God gave us options, and a long time ago, man unfortunately chose evil, so that is why we accept Jesus and become baptized as he did, and follow His rules rather than the world's rules. Yes, you must battle Satan every day, just know that it is there. You also realize that you can actually forgive people and not hate them. There is so much weight that will be taken off your shoulders, when you turn your life over to Christ. If yo do not believe it, it is your loss.

I think Hindusim which is a way of life and should not be called a religion is the best for me.
You have to be born a Hindu to know what it is like. The best thing about Hinduism is tolerenace to other religions, no force to follow rituals or other things. It is also one of the oldest religions in the world and has matured over time, especially over the last 300 years or so.

Although i wont directly answer your question, forgive me for going off on a related tangent.
Other than for the purely information aspect of gaining information about someones beliefs for understandings sake, i dont think we should be trying to set values on what way is the best way to live. No matter what our beliefs (religious or not) happen to be, our codes become violated when we infringe upon someone else's way of life in order to assert our own. Most ethical codes seem to in their purest form speak toward cooperation and not domination. The less that we try to say my way is best and learn to accept a lot of different ways for their own value they provide for people, the more enriched all of our codes could become.
Sorry for tangenting.

If what I believe is good for me, I don't care what other people believe. So I don't feel the need to try to prove anything to anybody. Let them believe whatever is right for them. in my opinion, it doesn't matter what path you take to get to the top of the mountain.

i am deist. i have no proof in what i believe whatsoever. i dont look for any, and i don't need government or others to validate myh belief.
its too bad that christian cultists and others cannot be the same way...instead, they want their cult validated by government, and they pay science to hopefully prove their cult from things of the earth!!
