First of all do you have children? If so maybe the only solution for your girlfriend is to get a part-time job during the time when you are off. If you have no children explain to her that if she is looking for a meal ticket she has got the wrong guy. If she has not worked for a while retraining is available. If she is not interested in any solution say good bye and move on. You need to look for an equal partnership.

Explain to her that you're unhappy at being the only breadwinner and that if she was working too that you would have more money to be able to pay bills and maybe go out at the end of each month for a treat (dinner, theatre etc).
If you have kids offer to stay home with them while she works evenings or weekends etc so that you don't have to shell out for a babysitter and let her know that you'll be there.
If she's not been in work for a while maybe let her start part-time and explain that it will give her something else to fill her days.
If she still doesn't want to work then explain that you think that maybe you have different outlooks on life and as someone else said, kick her to the curb!

You see now what your future is going to be like. Run, don't walk, to the nearest exit.
If it isn't a partnership now, it certainly will only get worse in the future.

unless she is preggers, or has a baby, kick her to the curb. Why are you supporting her anyway?
