When and where was the first ever cesarian section performed?

It was most likely about the second century A.D. and was Roman law that the baby was to be cut out of the stomach of a dying mother. Legend says that it was named after Julius Ceasar however Julius' mother was still alive.

Supposedly on 'Cesar' (as in Jullius) or one of his descendants. I'm not sure though.
