Society & Culture - 19 October 2006

In January of this year I picked up my family and several others who then and thus have followed my lead and changed churches.

This is a Word of Faith Church where the preacher is unlike any other church I have been to in my life. The man is deep into the word and keeps you enamored.

You would just have to be there to know what I mean. As a matter of fact the church will have a website up and you may email me if you desire this address.


But there are so many things on the internet that discredit word of faith churches..................help............I need solid answers............do I need to move now?

I had a crazy dream the other night, and just wanted other opinions on it...

I was sleeping in my bed, when I stood up and walked out the front door to the street in front of my house. Then I raised my arms and looked up, and lightning started coming down around me. It didn't touch me, and it almost looked like a solid sheet of light. It lasted for several minutes, and when it was over, I looked down and saw a scorched circle around my feet, about 2 feet across.

Just wondering what people thought of it...

not even a no thank you, just a NO, because I am Pagan. I live in a small community, but one would think once you lose everything you own, you wouldn't be so intolerant of those who want to simply donate to help you out. Is this normal or abnormal behavior of Christians during a crisis?

I liked it so much that I borrowed the tune,a few words and then wrote my own verses to sing at my precious Daddy's memorial service. His grandfather had been in the Civil War...among other battles, Sharpsburg and Gettysburg.

i posted a question, i honestly needed help...
someone assumed that my problems r because my parents allow me to get away with too much... perhaps if they had cared not to make this assumption and actually think why my parents let me get away with stuff then they might actually see that there is more meaning behind it... people assume that i'm saying stuff to make myself sound bigger and better... but i'm not, i'm simply telling how i feel... could anyone... anyone at all tell me why people have this nature of assuming things?

Okay , Dont get angry or such , But from what I've seen and read , Our soldiers in the army/marines/navy , Are Skinny , Redneck kids , With a horrid education.

From what I've seen , they're skinny , and are rednecks .

I believe the age to join the army should be changed to atleast 21, 18 , you're still a child , The average male , Doesn't stop growing until age 21.

And I think , their should be an IQ test you must take for the army/marines/navy

Have you read/seen , What these idiots have Done? Shooting animals in iraq , Because of boredom , WASTING TAX DOLLARS..Blowing up a washer with a grenade? ( I Have a video if you want to see it ) Grenades arent free.

Molesting Iraqi's , Because you haven't gotten "any" in a year?

Can anyone settle an argument about the above subject? Is there any people from India on this site?
What my argument is. Do you nice people remember the documentary on UK TV about a 4 year old Indian child who ran 40 miles without food or water then collapsed? Any Indian people living in India at present , know about this child?
I have met a friend from India via the web, now as far as we brits know the child was a 4 year old boy, but for some reason, my friend in India swears blind it was a little girl. I told him repeatedly that even Indian doctors , Indian people, Indian military doctor, Indian news people, etc, all referred to the child as a 4 year old boy, even using the words on TV, this little boy..........
So why on earth does my friend from Chennia in southern India still swear blind it is a little girl.
Any of you people here that live in India, what do you know about it? is the Indian media quoting this child as a little girl, or was there 2 children.???

many christians believe jesus to be the father And the son AND the holy spirit ,i believe jesus is the son of the father
the holy spirit im a bit vague on but say all the churches for the father that come to gether in jesus name sort of covers how i feel
the holy spirit to be unified ,we as believers in god comming to gether manifest the holy spirit in our oneness for the one god in jesus's name

My best friend had a beautiful baby boy 2weeks ago and while they were visiting me their dog Tank who is a member of the family for the last 5 years was busy tearing up the baby's room He even bit through the crib like a chain saw .I told them to find another loving home for their dog and she got very mad at me
And told me Tank is a member of the family and hung up on me

what would you do if a group of forigners attack your country,take it over,destroy your house,rape you,kill your parents,abuse your children,insult your beliefs and call you a terrorist for protecting yourself in your own homeland as well?will you sit on your hands and do nothing?and watch them stealling your oil and gold? If you try to get rid of them and you blow one of them up does it mean you're a terrorist or your religion is the religion of war and is full of violence?If so why they were not any before they attack you?what else would you do if you were in such a terrible situation?
