In January of this year I picked up my family and several others who then and thus have followed my lead and changed churches.

This is a Word of Faith Church where the preacher is unlike any other church I have been to in my life. The man is deep into the word and keeps you enamored.

You would just have to be there to know what I mean. As a matter of fact the church will have a website up and you may email me if you desire this address.

But there are so many things on the internet that discredit word of faith churches..................help............I need solid answers............do I need to move now?

WoF makes the Bible seem like a manual on how we can get God to do what we want, because we want it, and from what I've heard there is little emphasis on repentance, evangelism or any of the things normally associated with building up the body of Christ. I don't know what kind of faith background you've had to this point in your life, but if something doesn't seem right about WoF, you should listen to what your gut--or more likely, your spirit--is telling you. Check out the links below, and if I can help in any way, feel free to drop me a line at chad@jesusfreak.com. Take care.

***Correct Pronunciation of the Divine Name. “Jehovah” is the first-rate recognized English pronunciation of the divine identify, even though “Yahweh” is preferred through so much Hebrew students. The oldest Hebrew manuscripts gift the identify within the variety of 4 consonants, ordinarily referred to as the Tetragrammaton (from Greek te·tra-, that means “4,” and gram?ma, “letter”). These 4 letters (written from proper to left) are ???? and is also transliterated into English as YHWH (or, JHVH). The Hebrew consonants of the identify are hence recognized. The query is, Which vowels are to be mixed with the ones consonants? Vowel aspects didn't come into use in Hebrew till the moment part of the primary millennium C.E. Furthermore, given that of a devout superstition that had began centuries prior, the vowel pointing determined in Hebrew manuscripts does no longer furnish the important thing for deciding on which vowels must seem within the divine identify. Superstition hides the identify. At a few factor a superstitious suggestion arose a few of the Jews that it was once flawed even to pronounce the divine identify (represented through the Tetragrammaton). Just what foundation was once in the beginning assigned for discontinuing using the identify isn't undoubtedly recognized. Some maintain that the identify was once considered as being too sacred for imperfect lips to talk. Yet the Hebrew Scriptures themselves provide no proof that any of God’s real servants ever felt any hesitancy approximately saying his identify. Non-Biblical Hebrew records, such because the so-referred to as Lachish Letters, exhibit the identify was once utilized in constant correspondence in Palestine throughout the latter facet of the 7th century B.C.E. Another view is that the purpose was once to hold non-Jewish peoples from figuring out the identify and potentially misusing it. However, Jehovah himself stated that he could ‘have his identify declared in all of the earth’ (Ex nine:sixteen; evaluate 1Ch sixteen:23, 24; Ps 113:three; Mal one million:eleven, 14), to be recognized even through his adversaries. (Isa sixty four:two) The identify was once correctly recognized and utilized by pagan international locations each in pre-Common Era instances and within the early centuries of the Common Era. (The Jewish Encyclopedia, 1976, Vol. XII, p. 119) Another declare is that the intent was once to look after the identify from use in magical rites. If so, this was once deficient reasoning, as it's seen that the extra mysterious the identify grew to be via disuse the extra it could swimsuit the needs of practicers of magic.

If it helps guide you see my blog on "Are you in an illegitimate fellowship?" I pray that you will find the family that you need to be with for what that happens you will also find security and direction. Don't be caught up with depth but with revelation. There is a big difference. A person could be that "deep" that you need a dictornary and a degree to understand them but a good teacher can take anyone from where they are at to another level - Jesus was that example. Revelation reveals the truth to you at where you are at and takes you another step. Remember line upon line. Feel free to contact me! Blessings upon you

Gee,, first look at the model prayer Jesus taught his disciples,,,,
Our father who art in heaven hollowed be your name..(does you Church view Gods name as holy,,,do they use Gods name at all????)
Let your kingdom come..... What are they doing as (citizens) as Gods kingdom...How are you preaching and teaching others in an organized way????

and so on... Jesus also taught that love would be the most dominant quality in true Christians... Is that the case in your church? Ask yourself are you a minister or preacher??? Are you qualified to teach and preach,, is the minister you listen qualified according to what the Apostle Paul said to Timothy ????

all these things are in the bible and you need to know it in order to have not just knowledge but accurate knowledge of what God requires of you.

the internet is not the place to find answers, you can gather info for making decisions, but not answers.
watch Kenneth Copeland and see if your pastor follows similar teachings. also, find and read anything by Kenneth Hagin.(check at your local christian book store)
if your pastor's teachings are in line with these two gentlemen, then you have found a good church.
most of all, follow the Holy Spirit, He will lead and guide you.

The Word of Faith movement is built upon extremely bad theology. The links below can spell it out for you a lot better than I can personally, but as I see it, following Jesus isn't about what He will do for us, but what we will do for Him.
