According to christian teachings,God sent the flood and wiped out everything (except the ark and it's occupants ) because the world had become full of sinners.
Also according to christian teachings, we are all born of sin and therefore we are all sinners.
Should I be worried when it starts raining?

Well I guess the rain will put of the fires of hell that are supposed to end up sweeping the earth.

Anyway if you can swim the flood has gotta be better than the fires.

Oh yeah, and do you believe all works of fiction?

If you truly, strictly, follow Christian teachings, I would think you would be very worried indeed. Not about the rain but about the state of injustice in the world. That people kill people because Blair or Bush tell them to do so, that drunk drivers get four months' imprisonment for killing a child, etc.
Sin, if you wish to see it, is all around us.
I am not a Christian but I see it.
I do not worry when it rains.
I believe mankind will find a way to end this civilisation without any help from the weather, probably through a series of nuclear bombs.

Hi friend,
It's true that God once destroyed the earth with rain, but you don,t have to worry at all because the sun still rises and sets every day. I say this based on the fact that the word He spoke at creation is still effective today which the reason we still have the rising and going down of the sun.
He has said He will never destroy the earth by rain again. That is an eternally vallied statement that should put of any form of worry in anybody's mind whenever it's starts raining.
John.

Yes, be afraid, terribly afraid. For the next light shower could spell doom for all humanity.

The Bible is synonymous with contradiction. Try not to take its meanings too literaly, most of it is metaphorical, and the rest is maybe based loosely on fact.
Besides, we know there was never a great flood. If you take the date at which it was supposed to happen, it just doesn't add up. It's a cautionary tale, not a historical account.

nope. God promised not to do that again. He has given everyone the chance to escape the next cleansing, because Jesus paid the penalty for all of our sin. If we accept this, God says he will remember our sins no more. If we do not, we stand before God with only our own righteousness, such as it is (which, let me tell you, ain't much, even for the best of us). Those people do not have much chance at Eternal Life.

No, God said he would never again destroy the world by flood and sent rainbows as his sign of this truth. The bible also says you should NEVER worry!!! About anything. If God be for you, who can be against you? If God isn't for you, that's when you should worry. Is he for you? I know His heart is for you but have you accepted Him? If not, accept Him or continue to worry. The choice is yours.

no, if u continue reading the passage, u'll find out that God promised not to destroy the world again with flood and used the rainbow as a sign of his promise. also for the fact that we are born sinners doesn't mean u have to die sinners.

the bible said that through the death of Christ, all original sins have been atoned. Therefore you are only a sinner through your self acts and deeds.so when it starts raining heavily, and the thunder bolt light is intense, worry not if your hands are clean.but if your closet is filled with skeletons, beware of rains!

And just who is it that you are calling a sinner? But don't worry about the rain until the 39th day.
