"has Anyone met someone that was Perfect" If someone did, why do you think you would/should know about it? Not everything that has occurred in history was recorded, and not all records survive to this day.

And the books in the Bible were written when? What about all those who have lived since they were written?

Yes I'd like to ask them also, how many of their beliefs are arrived at logically through their own personal process of discovery, and can be proven?
Of course I already know the answer I'd most likely get, something like, "You need to have faith in the truth that the holy spirit seeds your heart with..." or something to that effect.
If Christians were to be truly honest with themselves and take an objective look at what it is they so zealously preach to others, they would have to admit that they believe it simply because they were born into it, and there is no way to verify much, if any of it.
Take for example the story of Noah.
I remember the catholic sisters who would come to my elementary school every week, and tell us all the "facts" about how he built an ark that could take a pair of each animal on the planet, to sail for forty days and nights while the rest of the earth perished in the great flood of God's wrath.
We were 5 and 6 years old. We had no analytical skills, or ability to apply critical thinking. We were fresh, clean slates open to be marked by anyone who came along with the authority to do so. That early influence was powerful and incredibly difficult to shake.
So, as we got older and came to understand things more clearly, it became increasingly difficult to reconcile these bible stories with what we knew to be scientifically true, and in many cases; impossible!
I am now able to reject outright, all the Christian beliefs I was force fed before I could think for myself, and in place of them I have a sense of spirituality which I can finally see beauty in. There is no need for judgment or guilt or repentance even, because the God I believe in isn't the small, neurotic punisher that judges its own creation based upon an impossible and contradictory moral framework, nor does it recognize "sin", just dysfunctionality. I feel calm and free of all the "fear based" controls of the organized religious world. This is also an issue of faith I guess, because I do feel it to be true for me, but I don't feel a need to push it onto others, much less tell them they're doomed for not accepting it.

Orion, I suppose if you are not a Christian then sin is not an issue for you. However were you ever to be able to "interview" every one who professes to be a Christian the true Christians would say that they have in fact sinned. So, in the event that you are just curious about Christians and since sin doesn't affect you theres your answer. Have a good day.

You evidently don't understand that everyone born is born in a state of original sin, due to the "fall" of Adam and Eve, the first parents of all mankind.

That fact is contained in the first book of the Bible, and is also included in "Basic Theology 101" at any good Christian school.

Actually yes, I have interviewed everyone who has ever lived. Not as facinating as you might think. Kinda boring actually, listening to billions of people ramble on and on about their boring lives. Anyway, my extensive research/interviews has lead me to this beleif: the bible is correct...."all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God".

So there you go.

I don't have to interview anyone. The Bible says ALL have sinned and fallen short of the glory of GOD.
