My daughter was gifted a beginners bible recently and what I am reading is abit hilarious. According to this book God basically gave orders to up sticks and move country to his 'followers' at the drop of a hat, they all had servants and life appeared very easy. And just how DID all the people in the world come from two people - there are laws against inbreeding these days aren't there???It cleared up the bit about everyone being different colours and languages - what a joke to play on your followers though to change it overnight - hadn't he heard of the naughty step - you know....if you don't build me that ark Noah I'll count to 3 and you'll sit in a timeout.....!?? PLEASE!!!!!

children eating as well, but say those kids are being loud, rude, and plain uncivilized and thier parents don't seam to be bothered by it, nor do they try and control thier kids, is it up to the restaurant staff to talk to the parents, or can other customers speak up?

What would you do if you were part of that family trying to eat peacefully?

Just I have discovered my vocation by the humanitarian work. always has been my think that ignorance is the greatest tragedy than the humanity faces. It is for that reason that I consider that who we lived in the world, in order to the future protection and evolution of our species, is very important to preserve the cultures and inheritances that after the years we have developed. I think that one of the most beautiful gifts than God has given to us is the diversity. But all this I cannot do by myself. For that reason I am drilling if there are people interested with this same vocation and help me to fulfill this work, you can do it from your country and all you need is will. For that reason I ask you for your help. If you want to participate you must be an proactive person and is very important that you have knowledge or root of your own culture. This was asserted by Richard Dawkins on the Skeptical Inquirer podcast this week. I'm ignorant of the Quran on this point. Can Muslims enlighten me, and if he's incorrect (perhaps this part is an unfair question), do you know where in the Quran he might have gotten that idea?

me and my mom and my moms friend were in my favorite chinese resturant our waitress had a birthmark on her neck and my mom assumed that it was a hickie and kept talking about it very loudly and when we left my mom wrote on a napkin HERES A TIP DONT COME TO WORK WITH HICKIES and know every time we go in there they look at us and whisper

They have heard of Jesus, the Bible, etc. They became happier and freer after they left religion. Life is much simpler, more logical and consistent.

Ok for Christians to believe that GOD have sent Jesus and not Mohammed too
Ok for Jews to believe that G-D have sent Moses and not Jesus and Mohammed
The Biblical prophecies on the advent of the Prophet Muhammad are evidence of the truth of Islam for people who believe in the Bible.


In Deuteronomy 18, Moses stated that God told him: “I will raise up for them a prophet like you from among their brothers; I will put my words in his mouth, and he will tell them everything I command him. If anyone does not listen to my words that the prophet speaks in my name, I myself will call him to account.” (Deuteronomy 18:18-19).1

From these verses we conclude that the prophet in this prophecy must have the following three characteristics:

1) That he will be like Moses.

2) That he will come from the brothers of the Israelites, i.e. the Ishmaelites.

3) That God will put His words in to the mouth of this prophet and that he will declare what God commands him.

It is not the religion that we are at war with. We are at war with fanatics who are hiding behind a religion, much like a Tele-Evangelist hides behind christianity for monetary gain. The religion of Islam has roots as far back as Christianity and the Old Testament is followed by Islam, Judaism and Christianity.

What are your thoughts on this?

So, What do we need to do to make Christians realize that we are not at war with a religion, and that Islam is not the "evil enemy" it is the fanatics that hide behind their beliefs!
