Years ago when Paul became apostle to the gentiles, christians were persecuted and thrown to the lions for their belief and not paying allegiance to Rome's emperor. Because Christians went to the death singing and praising The Lord creator of heaven and earth, many people feared and became christians. The true christian church always grew under severe persecution.
