When you answer a Religious question, is it your goal to simply share your views with others, or reject or convert the asker's views?

Everyone who has answered so far is so nice? Where are all the angry zealots (both religious and Athiest) whose answers are always so demeaning to the asker?

My goal is simply to share my views and perspective in a positive light and not offend others, however there is so much bashing and negativity here, and some of these people are erratic, can't provide a decent answer, or answer a question without insulting people, or a particular religious group, I wish everyone got along, life is too short and there are major conflicts and problems taking place in the world, for even more NONSENSE, that's all this is.

I try no to answer questions in that area, I don't like negativity, nor to waste my time with people that are simply too close minded, ignorant, uninformed and just plain fanatic.

Many times it is both, but not because I want it to be so. If I am simply sharing my views, but they are radically different from the asker's...will it not be seen as a "rejection"?

I simply share my views.

I answer to answer a question. Most of the time, I post facts with little or no input on my own feelings towards the subject.

To share my views and to help them but help myself as well.
