Pointing out someone else's problems distracts from their own, they're hypocrites, just like every other person on this planet...

That really depends on the individual, some people post questions here and receive responses that they feel are pointing out their faults. However, they are putting themselves out there. So, I am not sure what you are saying. I do not think most are making fun or pointing out faults just stating the facts as they see it. People who are confident and secure within themselves do not feel the need to make others feel bad to feel good about themselves, they already know who they are in the world. Therefore need no reassurance. Good luck and God bless. perhaps it is the way they ask the questions. Have a great day.

If people dwell on others who nitpick then their lives will pass on by because of insecurities within themselves or spiritual convictions of guilt.

They must live shallow lives and would rather nitpick than do something worth wild, like get a life and do something good in our world.

I think it stems from insecurity--they want to feel superior, so they nitpick someone else.

I am pretty much one of those nit-pickers. The faults we see in others help us to see ourselves for who we truly are.
