Being spiritual and intellectual have nothing to do with being a atheist.

I am an atheist because of my own personal research.

I'm a Pascalian Protestant, but I can answer as if I were atheistic.

More intellectual. This might be due to Asperger's Syndrome or some other "high functioning autism" rather than being semi-irreligious, LOL. Heck, when I go to an art museum, I see that some people calling themselves "artists" are just goofs with too much time on their hands.

Intellect is more important to me than spirituality.

As an atheist,I consider myself more intellectual than spiritual.Being spiritual is basically based on superstition.Being Intellectual is basically based on logic and reasoning. Why not believe in demons etc. from animes? Animals do not have to worry about spiritual things because it does not exist for them! We are greedy in believing we are the center of the universe just because we have the power of understanding.A neutral view is the best view.

Spirituality is a HUMAN way to describe strong emotional feelings such as what you feel during the birth of a child, or the emotional bond to a spouse or the respect and wonder you feel when you see somehting that you think is incredible or humbling like a dramatic view.

To answer your question, I would say that I approach life with a mixture of intellectual curiosity and respect.

Intellectual, of course. There is no "spiritual realm" beyond physical reality so the idea of "spirituality" is moot.

However, I also practice meditation for my own self-betterment, and believe a fair amount of the concepts of buddhism.... which neither believes nor disbelieves in a supreme being because the question is unanswerable and therefore irrelevant.

I would say "intellect" is more important.

But I'm a little muddled on what you mean by the term "spirituality." It can mean different things to different people.

If you were to ask me which I though was more important, intellect or morality, I would respond with "morality."

I'm not spiritual at all. I don't believe in the supernatural. Even the word supernatural is silly. Nature encompasses everything that exists, something that is super-natural can't exist, by its own definition.

Balance of both. Spirituality has nothing to do with "god"

Atheists do not believe that people have spirits; so it doesn't make sense to ask them if they are in any way "spiritual."

God bless you, Carol.
