I heard that they are updting the list of the seven wonders, but, it seems to me that the new ones are kinda lame compared to the old ones.
(the old)
Great Pyramid Of Giza
Hanging Gardens of Babylon
Temple of Artemis at Ephesus
Statue of Zeus at Olympia
Mausoleum of Maussollos at Halicarnassus
Colossus of Rhodes
Lighthouse of Alexandria

All of those are epic and quit frankly bitchin.

But..............The new list
Channel Tunnel
Cn Tower
Empire State Building
Golden Gate Bridge
Itaipu Dam
Delta Works
Panama Canal

These are kinda gay for wonders of the world.

Do you think that we should build some unbelievable thing so that we can have something cool to look back on?

The Channel Tunnel and the Panama Canal are extremely impressive accomplishments... plenty "unbelievable", even if they aren't as aesthetically pleasing as the old wonders. Still, I wonder where you got your list - the seven "new wonders" you listed are not even among the final 21 candidates.

The Taj Mahal (which you didn't list, but is a contender) surely belongs on any list of the final seven. I've seen the pyramids, I've seen the Taj Mahal, and the Taj Mahal beats the pyramids hands down.

The 21 candidates vying for membership in the new "seven wonders" list are:
The Acropolis
Alhambra
Angkor Wat
Chichen Itza
Christ the Redeemer statue in Rio
Colosseum
Easter Island statues
Eiffel tower
Great wall of China
Hagia Sophia
Kyomizu temple
Kremlin/St. Basil's
Machu Picchu
Neuschwanstein castle
Ancient City of Petra
Pyramids
Statue of Liberty
Stonehenge
Sydney Opera House
Taj Mahal
Timbuktu City

Yeah, when you talk about wonders of the world - I think of something for all the masses to marvel at.

I would include the Eifel Tower - but the Statue of Liberty? That sounds a little off - and I'm American!

I think the St. Louis Arch gets more props. than the Statue of Liberty - how is that a wonder?

The Opera House in Sydney? Granted, it's a beautiful buliding - but a wonder? I don't know.

I would say these are my seven wonders:

The Eifel Tower (signifies France, and it is quite an engineering marvel)
The Pyramids of Egypt (they've been around for thousands of years)
The Great Wall of China - that is truly an amazing human feat.
Machu Pichu in Mexico - the Aztecs are worthy of ancient Egyptians.
The statues of Easter Island - we don't even know who put them there!
Stonehenge - see Easter Island!
The Collisseum in Rome - still standing after all these years...amazing!

That's my list.
