Take Christianity. Does this mean that all the other people of the world who believe different religions are going to hell? So you can only go to heaven if you happen to be born in a place where your culture is of predominantly Christian people? Isn't it about faith, and worshipping or believing at ALL that counts? I find it really hard to believe that most of the planet is not going to be saved because they don't follow the bible.....and they don't follow it only because of where they were born or what their parents taught them. How many of you really sat down, looked at all the options and CHOSE to become Christian? Some, sure, but not most. There are many ways to worship and there would be less war if people understood this!

People are selfish and ignorant. People believe that others are wrong due to ethnocentrism. They do not stop and think, why do those people of that country or region do the things they do.

Because the Holy Bible IS God's Word to His people. In the Bible Jesus tells us; "I am the Way, the Truth and the Life. No one comes to the Father, but through Me." It isn't "just" about faith and believing. It's what/who you put your faith/belief in. Christ died for our sins. If we don't accept Him and His death on the cross, then we won't go to heaven. Before Christ returns, EVERYONE on earth will be told about Him and have the opportunity to choose Him or not. No one will be left out. No one. Yes, I was raised a Christian. As an adult I chose to remain a Christian. I don't think that we all have to worship God by attending church, but we do have to worship God. There are different ways of worship. But worship we must. And we must believe that Christ died for our sins. May God bless you!

Christians do not believe in religionship but a relationship with Jesus Christ. Jesus said in John 10:9 "I am the Door, anyone who enters in through Me will be saved." There is no other way that a man can be born again/saved except through the Lord Jesus Christ.

God said that only those who worship Him in truth through His son Jesus will go to heaven, He also said that if you have Never had the chance to know about Him, the one and only living God, then He will judge you upon you works, as He has said that He will judge all of the peoples of the earth. Jesus has said that when He comes the second time that He will have our rewarded for us according to our works. The word works means a faith that works, not the works with out faith. If I do good works, but have not the faith to worship God in all truth, then my works are dead, if I worship God in all truth, but I do not have the good works to prove it, then my faith is dead. But, however, if I worship God in all truth and I have the good works to prove it, then i am a child of God, and I get to go to heaven to live for ever with Him. And you are correct, the vast majority of humanity will Not get to go to heaven, I am sorry to say, but it is true never the less. I wish it were not so.

All people tend to think their way of thinking is right. For example talk to some one who believes evolution. He is just as adamant and unyielding as the most fanatical religious person, and will call you stupid if you don't agree with him, even though evolutionist do not all agree on how the mechanism of evolution is allegedly supposed to work. Talk about sport fans who all think their towns team is the best. And what about racism? People love to stick to their prejudices. So it is Human nature in all fields, not just religion for people to blindly stick to what they believe. And actually they have the right to do so. However to me its not what you say or what you believe that makes a difference. It is how it pans out in the real world. For example when all the fanatic are so ready to kill each other at the slightest provocation. I question the validity of their religious claims.

It is you who doesn't understand that we are born into a religion but we choose to be christians, the followers of Jesus Christ.

For Jesus did not have a religion only the scriptures and what was written, and this was his guide and he was God's son and God instructs us to "listen to him". Jesus did not come to do away with God's law but to make us understand and let us know of the the wonderful kingdom of His Heavenly Father and how to attain it.

No more than one religion can be right...although all can be wrong. That a person should have enough conviction to trust that their way is the right way should be praised, not ridiculed. I would expect nothing less from a true believer....regardless if I agree with their beliefs.

The problem with quoting that PC view:
God has been God forever. The bible written over thousands of years states God won't accept any false gods.God didn't become politically correct 20 years ago just because the world decicided to embrace PC.

I think what I'm doing is the right way to worship, or I would quit doing it. I make no judgment about others or the rest of the world. God is big enough to get around the world and make sure everyone has had a chance to accept or reject Him.
