Muslim women are merely advised in the Holy Koran to cover up their adornments when they go 'abroad' meaning anywhere away from their own home. This was to give them some protection from the evil doers who would attack them in those days. It is not compulsory to wear the hejab, except that Muslim MEN have made it so in many households. In today's twisted muslim society, men have made the rules for their women to follow. Don't go out on your own because who know what you will get up to? Your husband/father must be informed if you wish to step out of the house and when you are likely to return.
The hejab is chosen by many muslim women because they may then move around more free from the lavitious stares of MEN.

they are allowed to keep their faces covered, yet our kids aren't allowed to wear hoods up or wear a baseball cap in schools.. (not even in the playground) or in shopping centres. And if more than one teacher in a school worn a mask/veil, then how are the kids expected to tell whos who...

Rather like some Christians who instist that if anyone doesn't go to church they can't not think of themselves as Christian. Nowhere in theh Bible is it stipulated that they must go to a building called church to follow that particular faith.

i think thats a damn good question, especially as when using the passports, (ie in the airport) they don't have to remove the veil to prove who they are?? How stupid is that!!I don't think it should be allowed.

It is strange, but even stranger is your choice of words in asking the question about the validity of another religion...
..... "Thou shalt not take the name of the LORD thy God in vain: for the LORD will not hold him guiltless that taketh His name in vain.
