My daughter is 2 and a half and was well on her way with using the potty. Over the past few days she has started going to the washroom in her underwear over and over again...is this normal?

My daughter and I are bored. We've played with bricks, watched a cartoon, scribbled with crayons, played with the aqua-draw and I don't want to get the paints out today. (Hung over and its too messy!) Does anyone have any good ideas for games/activities for children this age? (preferably - due to my hangover that don't involve much running around!) thanks!

I have a 3 year old son to my ex-partner,unfortunately after 12 months of being apart he is taking me to court as he wants parental responsibilty. Now I have my doubts and fears because for 5 years of being together i was a victim of domestic violence, and my son had witnessed this on a number of occasions. My Ex has a history of violence(and a very bad one at that) and I would be absolutely devastated if the court allowed him this responsibilty. He was arrested last year for his actions against me but as he was so controlling over me I was forced to sign a letter in which he typed and sent to the courts. He was fined £50 and received a conditional charge for 2 years. Now if the court allowed this access I would be constantly worried for my son's safety. The only time he mentions his dad is when he tells me that his daddy used to smack his bottom and that it hurt. So he used to try and hide. I assume this took place when I was at work. So am I being selfish in denying my son his father?

My Boy, whenever he has a reason to cry, like when we try to discipline him, or when he doesn't get his own way cries really hard and vomits out all that he has eaten. And this practice is really frustrating us, is there any way to stop him from doing this?

I would appreciate a serious answer from parents.

He takes all objects from straws, to forks, and takes his two fingers to spin them. He'll sit on the floor and do this for 10 minutes uninterupted. He's up to date as far a developing mentally with words, and actions, I'm just worried that it might be some form of autisum because my nephew is autistic and shows repetitive behavior all the time. Does anyone's child do things repetively?

i've been prepping my son for toilet-training for months now... but lately he gets upset at the mention of "diaper" and/ or "potty". I've never forced him onto the potty... My concern/ question is - could this be a sign of any abuse ? He was in daycare a few months ago. He has been going through many transitions also lately. SOmetimes he cooperates, but sometimes he really gets upset.

she won't take a bottle at all and refuses to stop. how do i stop my milk production and dry up the milk or make it taste nasty so she won't want it? It is really getting ridiculous and it seems the longer she feeds the bigger my breasts are getting. it is a joke and right now i am willing to try almost anything. i am sick of the comments made at the fact that i'm still breastfeeding and the jokes about the size of my chest. i hate the attention and am beginning to wish i never breastfed at all. so woe betide my next baby, if i have one. im really desperate for a solution that works. help me.

My daughter is a very busy 22-month-old and it seems like our house is covered in toys from the moment she wakes up 'til she goes to bed at night. I have been trying to teach her to pick up after herself, but it's been difficult. Sometimes she'll copy me and help put things away, but most of the time she thinks it's a game and pulls out three new toys for every one I put up!

I have another baby due in June and desperately want some order in this house before he arrives. Any tips/advice from moms and dads who've been there? And also, as far as her age goes, am I expecting too much too soon? Or is this the right time to get her to understand what it means to help mommy pick up toys? Thanks so much!

I have been training her to go to the potty for a couple of months now. She just turned two. I have been training her without any diapers or pulls and she just recently learned how to pull her undies down. I just don't know how to train her when we aren't at home. She pretty much has it down when she is running around naked but when she has panties or pull ups on she just forgets about going. Does anyone have any advice?

He doesnt walk and he cant even stand up. He recieves PT and they put him in stander but cannot tollerate it for anymore then 10 min. He isnt talking and he doesnt wave bye bye or point. He smiles and he does make eye contact alittle. Does this sound like Autism? I keep thinking thats what he has but whenever i ask therepist they say no he makes eye contact. Can a child have Autism and still make eye contact? Iam getting a new doctor because iam not happy with the one i have. I really need some answers. He doesnt like to play with other children and hes not really interested in toys. If anyone out there might know what might be wrong with my son i would love to hear what you think or have to say. Please let me know your inputs!!! Thanx
