I think the best thing to do if you can when getting out & about is to take the potty with you until they get used to going somewhere different (if you can) Personally I didn't use pull ups or anything like that with my kids I think if your going to toilet train you should just put undies on them otherwise they have a false sense of security ie;their not supposed to do wee/poo but they can if they want to . Whereas if they are wearing undies they feel the wetness and dont like it therefor want to use the toilet . I would also take my child I was toilet training to the toilet with me when I need to go and see if they need to also. My son has just turned 3 and has been toilet trained since he was 2yrs 2mths old , we've had accidents of course but he is now (more often than not) taking himself to the toilet when he needs to & still telling the whole house what he is going to be doing! I hope this has been helpful . GOOD LUCK it doesn't last forever

You may have started a little too early. If she had been ready, then after two months she would probably be done.
Try the pullups that let you feel wet so she knows she wet.
Have her go on the potty every hour until she is remembering on her own with the pullups.
Reward success (pee in the potty, not the diaper) with stickers, m&m, whatever she values.
When she makes a mistake, don't make a big deal...just remind her pee goes in the potty.
Keep a daily log with star stickers each time she has success..if she misses, she gets an "x"...when she goes a day with all success, she gets a prize from a special prize box you make together (lollipops, crayons, etc.) Move to to prize after only a week as she progresses.
When you are out, you will need to be extra vigilant..have her go before you leave the house and while out, bring her to the potty before she will need to go until she gets the hang of it. It's hard going potty when you're not at home...even I only like to use my own potty! I would bring a portable folding seat cover for use in public to ensure a clean seat & so it will be familiar. Keep it in the diaper bag & let her know it's her seat and to tell you when she needs to use it when you're out. When you are out, show her where the bathrooms are so she is familiar, even when at the mall!

You can set a schedule for her. But if she is holding at night (no wet diapers/undies) then she should understand. You shouldexplain it to her and guide her along/take her to potty the first few times. Maybe a schedule would be the best thing because you can control it and show her what to do. Then she may carry it over to when you all go out. For now have her wear a pull up outside, but undies at home. Praise her when she does it in the potty. You have to wait though to ensure that she knows to use it at home with undies on and she has to pull them down, then it would be easier to teach her when you are out.

When your out of the house use the cool feel pull ups. She still has the wet and cool feeling to discourage her from peeing in them and it prevents you from having to change full outfits while your out. I would also try rewarding her with either money (pennies or quarter) or candy when she does make it without going when your out. This would give her something to motivate her. Also maybe give her a penny every time she tells you she has to go. Then she will get into the habit of telling you and earn some fun money at the same time. Always make it fun for them that's what seems to work the best. Hope this helps. Good Luck.

i would not put a diaper on her in public it will just confuse her. Panties only, and ask her all the time "do you have to go pee". Bring extra clothes and just change her if need be. i never used pull up's or trainning pants and i have trained all three of my kids with success. good work

This is something that you will have to work at slowly. For now, only work on potty training when you are at home until she gets the idea better.
