I've never had boys in my family, so I don't know how they act when they're little. Can anyone tell me y my 1 and 1/2 yr son is such a sissy? He clings to me almost non stop, if I leave him upstairs in the bedroom with his dad to get him a drink or something, he has a tantrum because i left, when his dad takes him out just dad and son, if he meets a stranger, he cries for mommy. Why is this? are all little boys like this? like I said, I have no brothers nor cousins or anything that r boys and this is bugging me. The worst part, I'm starting to like snuggling with him, ect. I'm closest with him than my other two(I have a 3 1/2 girl and a 10 month girl)

But she gets into bros jumper and Im not joking guys she spins around for, Ive counted, 30 mins straight without stopping!!! i literally have to stop her myself.. This absolutely cant be good for her melon right. Am I just being paranoid or is this maybe having to do with her not talking yet?

I just read and commented on this persons question. It really pissed me off...Am I wrong? I would write this woman a book on how wrong she is but I didn't have anymore room on the answer space..lol.

What is wrong with this person that they are soo ignorant? What makes these people so ignorant other than the obvious answer is not knowing (which is the meaning of )

Soo...my question is....Why am I soo pissed about what this biatch wrote and Why do I even Care (other than me taking it personally)? I do know that I hate ignorance and I am not even sure why such idiots are allowed to have kids!?!

Ughh..I am pissed! Lol What do you guys/girls think?

Here is the link...tell me what you think

my daughter although always bossy has become extreamly sensitive latley when ever she gets mad, which seems to be all the time so goes into rampages saying she doesn't like me or any one. She tells me she's going to go live at her friends out and refuses to come out of her room. how do I deal with this?

I have a soon to be 2 yr old daughter who I am sure is left-handed. I don't want her to be left-handed. No matter how often I tell her to hold her spoon with her right hand, she will switch back to her left when I am not looking. I would not give her treats unless she takes them with her right hand. Recently she has been scribbling and she does that with her left hand too. I never expected to have a left-handed child... both my husband and I are right-handed.

What should I do to convert her? spank her?

I have a left-handed friend who was converted to become right handed. Her mum tied her left hand to the back of the chair so she wouldn't write it it.

If my 16 month old son only watches Sprout (Kids PBS Channel) and its on most of the day (he plays most of the time but he watches it occasioanlly) will that negatively affect his development? Is TV really that bad for kids if its educational? What effects does watchng TV have on a child?

My 16 month old seems like he is always wanting to eat! He eats at meal times and wants several snacks throughout the day. He wants to eat whenever he sees that I have food or if he sees a snack that we feed him also. How much should he be eating at this age? He is 2 feet 7 inches tall and I guess around twenty something pounds. Do all toddlers eat like this? Should I set a time where I feed him and give him snacks etc or should I just feed him when he's hungry? Hes not unhealthy by any means just curious,,,

He ate maybe 2. I called our DR and he said to keep a close watch and if he acts differently to take him to ER. So far he seems to be good but I am scared and feel horrible. Can anyone tell me if he is going to be okay or if this is something that is dangerous. In the chewables there is Calcium and Magnesium.

I know it's totally normal for him to be interested in and playing with that area of his body. But it's really driving me nuts to constantly be changing his sheets and clothes because he took off his diaper and got pee and poop everywhere. I've even tried keeping a onsie on him to deter him, but he can unsnap it or just streches it out. So sick of gross laundry!

Why is it that when someone asks question about breastfeeding an older baby or toddler you get a bunch of "answers" that say you should wean them. Please don't give weaning advice unless it's asked for. Most of these questions I'm referring to don't ask anything about weaning at all and neither the mother nor the baby is interested in hearing about it.
