Pregnancy - November 2007

My friend is rediculous and just does not seem to hear anthing I am telling her!! Her boyfriend and have been dating a little more than a year. They've been having sex for about 3 months. She got pregnant last month and took the plan B pill without telling him. She finally explained what had happened and he got furious explaining that he didn't believe in abortions and that she had killed their child. I just dont see how the plan B pill is an abortion! She is still with him but they still haven't resolved the matter. She can't take birth control b/c it makes her sick! The only form of birth control they use condoms. And they are still having sex!! I'm very worried about her! If she gets pregnant again she doesnt want to keep it and he feels the opposite. What can I say to her to get her to reconsider the situation? I'm so scared for her, but nothing I've said helps so far.

my bf got me pregant, he said that he would stay with me and support this baby, i'm worried though. My brother does'nt know yet, he is 21. Kale (my brother) told me when i was 15 and had him as a boyfriend that if he got me pregant, he would kill him. I have a stepdad and 3 step sisters all much younger, (7, 7, 9.) and 1 step brother (jake, 14.) i have 3 bio brothers all oler (18, 19, 21) My step dad hates me. I'm afraid to tell him because i know he and Kale will kill my boyfriend. How do i tell them i'm pregant? How do i get them to not kill Adam? Any good parenting tips?

my pregnancy books say that on average the baby will drop 2-4 weeks before birth. im wondering if it will happen overnight or if i'll be walking around and notice her drop. what does it feel like? does it happen with you knowing or do you just wake up and notice something different?

I don't want an epidural and my midwife doesn't give them anyway, but narcotics are available if requested. Do they make the laboring mother nauseous? Also, which narcotic has the least side effects?

I'm a mother of 3 children, now 18 weeks pregnant.

i am 37 1/2 weeks pregnant and want to know of any ways to help bring on labor and if they actually work. I have heard of having unprotected sex, walking, climbing stairs, nipple stimulation, spicy food and alot more but now i want to know if any actually work!? also is there a way to have your membranes swept with out seeing a doctor?

I'm pregnant and know that I am not allowed to have these types of cheeses: brie, feta, etc. I don't know what foods there are most commonly used in though?

Also, I know hot dogs, and deli meats are not supposed to be eaten, what about bologna?

Any other foods should I avoid?

I have been pregnant 2 times and both time I took a home test and they said I was pregnant. Now I think that I might be again and the home test say no. Can I still be pregnant even though the test say no?

My obgyn insisted on getting a flu shot when I went in today. I know I already asked this question, but the research I have found online says while getting a flu shot at any time during pregnancy is recommended, waiting until the second or third trimester is what most articles say. I'm hoping this shot doesn't have any harmful effects on my baby....my doctor really insisted on getting though....I've never had the flu or the flu shot until today. If you received the flu shot in early pregnancy, did everything go ok? Thanks!!

Two days ago my HCG level was 20.000 and today it had only gone up to 25.500. I'm 6 weeks and 2 days pregnant.
Does this mean a miscarriage or is there any hope at all?

I know it's an inter-uterine pregnancy as my doctor did a scan at 5 weeks (Lost my right tube to an ectopic pregnancy 4 months ago and had a miscarriage 2 months ago).

I have an appointment for another scan in a couple of days but I'm driving myself crazy. Please let me know what you think.

well where do i begin i had no sickness which is really good i think.
soooo tired Ahhhh all the time for the 1st couple of weeks
Sore boobs or should i say boobs that felt like i had stuck an ice pack on them for about half an hour and my nipples where going to drop off soz for the details.
In The first stages i was extremely dizzy to the point where i could only lie down and was even still dizy then.
Constant headaches
and oh my gosh im as moody as an old bull i feel for my flatmate
oh and last but not least i have a leakage but i have been to the doctor and apparently it is normal it is just like mmmm white goo anyone ever had that.
i know this might sound like winging but i'm not im just venting before my poor room mate gets up, and i would also like to know has anyone had these symptoms or worse fill me in what is to come. Ohh and i do want my bubs, first time pregnant no ***hole answers please

I'm pregnant with my second child and it was planned. But for some reason I haven't even started planning for the actual baby to be here. I haven't bought a thing and I keep thinking I will when I get to it. I know the nesting thing is supposed to be kicking in now that I'm 5 months pregnant but that hasn't either. I'm not saying I'm not excited about having a baby I'm totally excited I can't keep myself from poking around on my belly trying to get the little fella to wiggle around and from bragging about him.
Has any other moms felt really lazy about their pregnancy or uninterested in the details of it all?
My mom mentioned with her first baby she filled in the whole baby album and then with each child she had afterwards she did less and less?

I'm 8 months pregnant and have been dealing w/ a lot because my husband and his family (wont even go into it). This morning, my husband was complaining about me...which is funny cuz he is a low-life who only cares about himself (yea, I wish I would of known he would act like this...but it all started when I got pregnant). Well this morning he started complaining about how lazy and worthless I am (I'M ON BEDREST!!) I am only suppose to lay on my side (complications from him causing high bp). I just was ignoring him as he kept trying to make me feel worthless and he grabbed my neck and then hit me across the head. It didn't hurt me, but now I just want to leave. The only problem is I'm so late in my pregnancy that it would be impossible to transfer insurance and doctors at this point (my parents live in another state) that's the only people I can go to...Please give me advice! I don't want my baby around this man nor his family...Thanks all!

My husband has low sperm count and I have never ovulated regularly, if at all. We conceived our first children (twins) by IVF last March. I gave birth to the twins on August 17 -- I was only 25 weeks. One twin was stillborn and the other died after 10 days in the NICU. I had my first period since the birth in early October, and ovulated 19 days later. We had sex that day. I am now 5 dpo and feeling tired, nauseous, and a little crampy. Also, my nose is stuffy and bleeds a little when I blow it. Is it possible that we got pregnant naturally, so soon, and even with his low sperm count?

A friend of mine just found out she is pregnant again, and has decided on an abortion. Just 4 months ago, she was in the same predicament. She had her first abortion, and hated herself for it. It seemed like she was literally going insane from it. She had also vowed to get on BC, and never have another abortion.
She can't seem to learn her lesson. She is pregnant again, (4th time!..shes 21) And announced that she is getting another abortion. In a case like this, I think its horribly wrong. She's using it as a form of birth control, which is absolutely disgusting to me. The first time, I could sort of understand... The second time, 4 mo later? No..

Has anyone ever been, or known someone in this situation? Do you think she will really be able to go through with another abortion, knowing how bad it hurt the first time.

She would call herself a murderer, and all this crazy stuff. I just dont understand.
