My husband has low sperm count and I have never ovulated regularly, if at all. We conceived our first children (twins) by IVF last March. I gave birth to the twins on August 17 -- I was only 25 weeks. One twin was stillborn and the other died after 10 days in the NICU. I had my first period since the birth in early October, and ovulated 19 days later. We had sex that day. I am now 5 dpo and feeling tired, nauseous, and a little crampy. Also, my nose is stuffy and bleeds a little when I blow it. Is it possible that we got pregnant naturally, so soon, and even with his low sperm count?

Yes its possible, tougher situations have resulted in pregnacy. But dont get your hopes up, it is cold and flu season, so you may be coming down sick also. Get a pregnancy test and test around the time your period should be due. BTW----- I AM SO VERY SORRY FOR YOUR LOSSES!! I couldnt imagine having to have gone through something so heart wrenching especially with your fertility issues. Best of luck, and I pray that you find you are pregnant and have a happy healthy baby!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

it is extremely easy to get pregnant right after you had a baby. Your body is in the pregnancy mode and ready to go. Do remember though, that the first prenancy took a lot of nutrients out of your body. if you are pregnant start those prenatals immediately. Good luck to you.

First of all. . . I am very sorry for the loss of your twins. It's so sad that so many loving people can't have kids when so many horrible people keep having them when they don't want them. I suggest you contact your gyno IMMEDIATELY and let professional doctors take care of you and monitor you. Good luck and may God bless you.
