I am so stressed out like all the time, and i'm so worried that I am hurting my baby. I'v tryed everything I could think of to take down my stress level and relax but it seems like nothing helps. If you have any ideas or me or suggestions that would be greatly appreciated. and please no rude/non helpful posts.

i am 23, almost 24 wks pregnant, but im worried cause i keep having cramps. is there anything i can do for these?

-Meditation. Light candles, take long hot baths, read a book, concentrate on deep breathing
-Light exercise. Go for walks or lift light weights.
-Comedys. Nothing is better than laughing. Rent a dozen, and have movie day/night.
-Do puzzles (sudoku or crosswords). Works for me. Get your brain thinking so you don't think about other things
-Knitting. Any activity that keeps your hands busy or requires concentration.
-Read a good book. Fantasy. Get lost in it.
-Think of your babies health. It's not fair to him or her. Put them first.
Overall, think happy thoughts. Refuse to let any negativity into your head. Once it does, push it out and repeat happy, positive things.

I know it is all so stressful but you have to understand if you are following your doctors orders and not doing anything intentional to hurt your baby (like smoking or drinking) then you are fine. Babies are so protected when they are in the womb. The thing that helped me the most last time was when someone told me that stressing myself out was worse for my baby then most things. Try to relax and enjoy your pregnancy.

My water broke at 27 weeks pregnant, used to be admitted into the health center for five weeks. Got a huge contamination within the placenta, needed to set off exertions at 32 weeks. I had a high risk pregnancy with my daughter and was very stressed all the time. She was born healthy, and is a normal 2 year old. Most women are stressed when they are pregnant and their babies are just fine.
