My obgyn insisted on getting a flu shot when I went in today. I know I already asked this question, but the research I have found online says while getting a flu shot at any time during pregnancy is recommended, waiting until the second or third trimester is what most articles say. I'm hoping this shot doesn't have any harmful effects on my baby....my doctor really insisted on getting though....I've never had the flu or the flu shot until today. If you received the flu shot in early pregnancy, did everything go ok? Thanks!!

I certainly have nicely-known numerous of lady friends that are transforming into to be the flu shot under 10 weeks and a few reported feeling that as nicely. I believe something which you may see a doctor just to be on the secure element. once you're pregnant no longer something is in basic terms too small, is greater appropriate to experience good then be with doubts.

Even though it is said its best to get the flu shot during the second or third trimester, it is still highly recommended for any woman who is pregnant during the winter months. If you were to get sick with the flu during your firs trimester,it can heighten your chance of a miscarriage so be glad for that flu shot when the weather starts to get worse.

A flu shot is basically some mayo mixed in with some destroyed virus. It won't harm you unless you are allergic to eggs. No worries. It sure beats getting the flu while pregnant, which can lead to some major problems.

I got my shot, and its ok, im farther along, but my sister recieved hers when she was about 9 weeks pregnant when she was pregnant and it turns out fine. in fact it may help your baby because you pass along your immunities to the fetus. so its ok, it wont hurt you or your baby so you can rest easier now. I hope this helped good luck and congratulations!!!
