Where are the pains? This doesn't sound normal. I would call your doctor's office or the hospital where you delivered and describe to them your pain and where it is located. You might have an infection which is not uncommon after delivering a baby.

It could be. It's only been a little over a week since you have had the baby. Try taking some TYLENOL. Give it a few more days, and if it doesn't get better, let the doctor know. You probably should be seeing him/her any day now. Hope you are getting around o.k. now, I know how hard it is (I have had 2 c-sections). And congratulations on baby!
