First of all, do you realize what Planned Parenthood is? They perform 20 percent of the abortions in this country and make millions of dollars of profits from it each year (go view the financial reports on their own website to see).
Planned Parenthood also gives birth control AND abortions to minors without parental consent. That is sneaky, dishonest and can be downright dangerous sometimes. A teenage girl in California died after bleeding from an abortion done by Planned Parenthood. Her poor father never found out until she died what caused it. Planned Parenthood kept the abortion a secret, but of course they could not hide her death.
Your parents have a RIGHT to know that you are carrying their grandchild in your womb. YOU do not own this baby and you certainly do not have the power to take its life away.
Only God does that.
Please call a Crisis Pregnancy Center, hon, and stay far away from Planned Parenthood!!

No, your parents don't need to know, and you don't have an obligation to tell them. The Planned Parenthood website will give you all the numbers and addresses you may need. In California, parental notification isn't necessary, though it might be different in other states. Good luck!
-Also: avoid Crisis Pregnancy Centers. They have been known to lie about health risks, and are basically fronts for church groups.

No, your parents don't have to know. But how would they feel if they did know you were killing an innocent child? You had sex to get pregnant, you should have to deal with the conciquences. There are other alternatives an abortion....i.e. giving it up for adoption. You're taking into your own hands to decide whether or not someone should live. If you ask me, it's murder.

No. And look it up in your phonebook.
I encourage you to be absolutely sure you have explored other options before doing this. Abortion isn't a quick fix to the "problem" of pregnancy. Abortion stops the beating heart of your child. It doesn't undo the fact that you became pregnant.

At 18 you are legally an adult, even if still in high school and living at home.
You don't have a phone book? You have a computer - google it.

No, they do not have to know, and go to plannedparenthood.org; you can locate the center closest to you. It will give you the phone number and list the services they provide.
EDIT: http://plannedparenthood.org/findCenterProcess.asp?zipCode=&state=CA&sortBy=center_city&p=11
there are two in Oakland, look at the bottom of the page.
