Youre an idiot. A concubine is a whore and a midwife helps a women give birth....no where near the same. In fact if I were a midwife Id be insulted....come to think of it youre being reported!

A midwife is a person who helps with the delivery of a child and brings about a more "natural" form of childbirth. A concubine is someone who lives with a man (not legally) and does the duties of a "wife."

Most of the midwives I met were mature, motherly, practical sort of ladies. They have to be willing to put up with laboring mothers screaming insults at them, and at ease with the blood, vomit and excreta that accompany birth. I don't think they would fit the bill for what you probably want in a concubine.

No, midwives assist in birth and can monitor pregnancy.
A concubine is a 2nd (or 3rd or 4th, etc.) wife who services sex.
