Pregnancy - November 2007

Now I'm thinking, how the heck are we going to afford a baby. Did this worry any of you at all. My fiance is already paying support for his little boy, my place of work might be going on strike, and my fiance is just getting into a new job. I just feel like I can't do this yet. How did you deal with this?

I am being Induced in 3 days and for the past couple of weeks I have had loose stools. Im not sure if it is diarrhea but I do get the upset stomach and feeling of I HAVE TO GO NOW!! I know that this can be a sign of labor but nothing yet! I really dont want to have to worry about having diarrhea during labor so is it ok for me to take imodium the day before and the day of labor? Does it make you constipated at all? I have heard of some hospitals not letting you go home until you made a bowel movement so I dont want to make myself constipated! So does this stuff really work that well? Also, I was reading about enemas so you dont go while pushing the baby out...are hospitals still doing this? Thanks to any and all answers/tips!

Someone told me that you cannot have more than 2 c-section? Is this true? I have 2 kids both c-sections and pregnant again......my doctor ( that delivered my 1st kid) said my pelvic bone was too small to deliver vaginally..........

I'm nearly 39 weeks pregnant and mother in law has already tried to lay the guilt trip, she wants to be there when I have my baby.
I told the midwife I only want my husband and midwife/dr and that's it she suggested my hubby call everyone AFTER I have the baby.
MIL said make sure you call me when she's in labor I want to be there don't leave me out! She said to my husband ' your brother was a rotten sh!t he didn't tell me and your grandmother until after and we had brought all these nice toys and clothes for the baby and he didn't even let us know we were so upset disapointed and angy! Don't be like him and let me know the minute she's in labor.'
This is so unfair I really don't know how to handle this am I being really selfish for only wanting my husband to be there - any suggestions?

Did you experience a decrease in sex drive in the first trimester??? If so when did it come back??
I have been so sick I havent care too much to have sex! I just wonder if this is normal??? I hope it comes back! This is not like me!!

i am only 8 weeks pregnant and already i have put on 10lb and gone up a size in the waist. i know all pregnancies are different but is it normal to show this early? it all seems to be in the stomach
also my partner told me last week that twins run in his family could this be a reason for getting big early

she just got pregnant and shes about 1-3 wks pregnant...she doesnt want abortion or adoption b/c shes afraid shell be attached if having the baby soo i need some info on how we can go about a safe way without surgery or w/e to not have this child were both in school have no money and have no place to live its a very difficult situation and would like other opinions...AND PLZ NO RATICAL CHRISTIANS TELLING ME TO HAVE THIS if its murder then god would have never placed trust in two irresponsible teenagers that were having safe sex. I had a miscarriage a week and a half ago. I was feeling better for about 4 days. Now I feel craping on my left side more then my right. I had very dizzy. I almost fainted today. I am very bloated. I feel sick after I eat. I can not get enough sleep. How long can I expect to feel this way? I just want to feel normal again.

Which is more effective in preventing pregnancy when taken correctly: birth control pills or the birth contol patch?
Or is there a better method out there? (spermicides, sponges, the shot, etc.)

I know the only method that is 100% effective is abstinence, but unfortunatley, it's too late for that.

I'm expecting my first child in a few months. I'm starting to look for child care now. I work about 45 minutes from my home. Do you think it is better to place the child in a center close to my work or home? I live and work in really nice areas so either place will have nice day care centers.

Has anyone else wondered by people who leave ugly, rude comments always block their IM and emails that people cannot respond. I am above the pettiness but would sometimes like to send people an email when they have facts wrong just to educate them, along with a link to my source.

Everytime I ask a question and get one of those nasty responses or smart *** comments, it makes me appreciate my own non-judgmental, open-minded personality even more. And no, I do not judge these people, just wonder why you are nasty. That;s all.

I just found out that I am 4 1/2 weeks pregnant due july 23rd, I have "night" sickness, and really really bad mood swings, which is putting a strain on things...Is there anything I can do to change this. Ok so tomorrow I'm supposed to participate in a charity event where I stand out on the street corner in 2 - 4 hour shifts and collect money. I'm 31 weeks pregnant and nervous that maybe that's not the best thing to do in my last trimester...I'd ask my doc but I don't see him til Tuesday...Oh also I'm in Michigan and it's suppose to be snowing and 27 degrees tomorrow...Thanks for your input

Till recently my blood pressure was usually low around 100/60 but
in past few days it goes up to 170. Doctor said that I should try to rest, but this does not seem to help much. Any advice?

Ok. Last period started Oct 21. I started the nuvaring Oct 26. By my calculations I should have been expecting a period by Nov. 19. I didn't get one. Very minor spotting for about a day on 22. I need to mention that I did have unprotected sex before the seven days were up that you have to keep the ring in before its effective. Since last Sat, I've been really emotional/moody, bad lower back pain(likr pms but much worse) light cramping, breast tenderness and I've been throwing up which I NEVER do. I took a hpt at 5 days late and 7 days late which were both negative. Unconvinced I went to the docs yesterday and had another urine test done. Neg. She said she wouldn't worry about it. Many women have no period on bc. I thought it regulated it. She also said pregnancy is impossible due to neg test. Told me go ahead and put ring back in and if I do find out I'm preg it won't do any harm to the baby. I don't believe this. Threw up again last night after appt. What do I do? Could I be preg?

Sometimes I think that maybe I feel him but then its only when my belly feels gassy or something. I feel so bad not knowing if the feel I have is my baby or gas --- yikes!

I had a sonogram yesterday and he was moving like crazy but I didnt feel any of it.
