Has anyone else wondered by people who leave ugly, rude comments always block their IM and emails that people cannot respond. I am above the pettiness but would sometimes like to send people an email when they have facts wrong just to educate them, along with a link to my source.

Everytime I ask a question and get one of those nasty responses or smart *** comments, it makes me appreciate my own non-judgmental, open-minded personality even more. And no, I do not judge these people, just wonder why you are nasty. That;s all.

Havea great day to all the non-nasty pregnant ladies!

Thank you Kevin M for illustrating my point exactly....rude comment and no way to contact him. What exactly is a dumb question? Dumb to you because you know the answer? Or do you think the person is dumb because they are seeking the answer? If I ask online about someone's experience with something, how is that a dumb question? Or if I want to become more educated about something that will make me a better mommy, how is that a dumb question? We all have different experiences that give us different knowledge. Asking questions and wanting to become educated is never dumb.

Not that everyone should be like me but when I see a question that doesnt make sense to me - I skip it. I dont leave nasty comments. And if I dont know the answer, I dont answer. There are alot of people on here that are trying to give ral advice that makes no sense. Just my thoughts.

I totally agree. i dont see why people feel the need to write rude or nasty answers when all people (most people) are trying to do is ask other peoples opinions or get some good advice. i asked a question a while ago about my 2yr old not sleeping and explained everything and one person replied that maybe it was because i wasnt giving her enough love and attention! i thought this answer was very rude as this person does not know me so who were they to judge? i think rude and nasty answers are a pointless exercise but honesty i think they write them for an easy way of getting 2 points as they cant think of any good advise to give.

I sometimes answer rudely not on purpose i dont realize it until after i post and being pregnant we all have our hormones and sometimes they are just a little more eluvated more then they should be :P but yea if its been a stressfull day and im trying to answer someones question i might be rude in it not meaning to be. its not until i go back and read what i wrote later that i realize i was rude. most the time though i just try and answer the question. not being nice or mean just a plain answer. but yes i understand the type of people you are referring to. it irritates the hell out of me when im really wanting an answer and i get a rude, sly, no good answer.

sometimes the reason people leave a nasty comment is because they either don't understand the question (b/c it was written poorly or it's misspelled. GREATLY). or in truth its just a question that gets ask 1000 times a day. "am i pregnant? could i be?" for some people they get annoyed be these questions and respond nasty. that's it

well most nasty comments are left to someone who asked a question that makes no sense. or "am i pregnant?" so, yeah, i've answered with a few smart *** comments, but i'm sorry i agree with kevin m. dont ask a stupid question, dont get a stupid answer.

If you could mail them,it would probably have their infantile little minds giggling to themselves. Better off just letting the remarks go by and ignore them in the knowledge that they're pretty dim

Awe, dont fret. its just our hormones that take us for a loop during pregnancy. it isnt easy for women when they are pregnant. the unborn baby takes everything from us while they are in the womb. i myself had up and down hormone levels when i was pregnant. but never nasty to anyone. as far as people who are nasty with im's etc. ignore it.

I really think that on a board like this one people should only ansewr the questions they actuallt have knowlege and persoal experience about.

I have no respect for people who start something that they never see to the end, for no good reason.

Do it once, I may tolerate it. Twice, I'm wary of you. Three times, you f***ing suck and I want nothing to do with you.
