I have already asked a question about Anna Nicole, as a parent I would like to know from all, what would you do if your daughter or son became famous and had to deal with all the BS that goes with it? I am a father and I do not know if I can answer that question.

She will only be watching her one day a week. My daughter is almost 2 years old and potty trained. My friend volunteered to do it, and hasnt mentioned money, but I WANT to pay her something. It will be for 8 hours or less, once a week. We live in a small town in Oregon, if that makes a difference. What sounds like a fair way to pay her? Like a flat rate per week, or an hourly rate? How much would YOU charge if you were babysitting a mild-mannered, potty trained 2 year old?

My daughter has been touching herself recently to the point it irritates her skin. Is this normal? Can anybody provide a website or book or something that could help me deal with this situation. Thanx.

My cousin called me and told me she only got $180 this year for her son. That blew me away because I thought it was supposed to be $1,000 per child.

She always comes to us with clothes that are stained, too small and smell of smoke. She never knows the last time she had a bath and has b.o and oily hair. She's almost 7 years old and her mom has 2 smaller ones with another guy that she's married to. When we pick her up, the other ones are dirty and half the time are playing in the street. They are all well fed and I don't think she gets spanked, but she told me that when her mom gets mad at her she will tell her to pack her bags and to live with her dad. She tells us all sorts of stories about how her mom let her have a drag off her cigarette and how she has coffee for breakfast. Her mother even told us to bring her coffee for her for breakfast on her first day of school. It just goes on and on how ridiculous the things she does are. If someone were to contact social services would they actually do anything since she isn't being physically or sexually abused?

I guess women can answer if they want too.

I'm in my late 20's and I'm getting close to a time where I need to start thinking about fatherhood. I was wondering how it feels when your child is born and in the house. How does it feel? Is there a feeling that there's a stranger in the house? Do you feel overwhelmed with responsibility? Describe how it feels when baby comes home please.

A spanking therapist is a person that gets paid to spank you. I have found there are a lot of nerves in your butt and when you get spanked it is great stress relief. I am looking to find a woman though anybody know of any?

Have a 7y/o son-Dad was a convicted felon(sold drugs)-he's out now-have new girlfriend(new girlfriend is causing drama)-He's seems to have not learned his lesson-he is not allowed to see my son unsupervised(son doesn't want to be alone with him-he doesn't really know him-but he's scared of him because he knows he was in jail). Just gave Dad the phone number-but now he wants to visit my home (we've met in public places before)- I said no-he thinks that I want him back and using my son as a pawn(THAT IS NOT THE CASE)-I explained how I feel about having his girlfriend around-how I feel about his same outlook on life and told him that my son is very uncomfortable around him- He just wants to do things his own way-I suggested we do what is comfortable for my son(he does not pay child support). I told him I do not want any drama in my and my son's life-I've told him I don't want a social relationship with him and we should just keep our talk about my son-he wants to be on a friend level

How soon can you do these things after you have a baby? Can you take it with or do you find someone to watch him or her?

My 3 month old always looks at the t.v. Even when i'm feeding her, she will try and watch the t.v. Not all the time, but when she is really alert. She kicks her feet and giggles if I put her in her bouncer. I have a baby einstein video for her and she likes it, but not as much as regular t.v. I looked on the net for info regarding this and saw that some children did have adhd because of t.v. watching at a young age. Did anyone let their child watch t.v when they were small and now they are 6 or 7 years old? Does your child have adhd from this? I probably will let her watch t.v occassionally just becuz I love to see her smile and giggle so much. I just wanted to hear your stories.

my son is already charming the girls at preschool... and he has a little "girlfriend". he wants to use all of his allowance money to buy her a huge box of candy. while i think this is adorable, i hate to watch him waste all his money on this girl who i'm not sure feels the same way about him. she loves the attention (according to her mom) but i need to explain this to him

I'm a new stay-at-home-mom, and I'm wondering what you all do all day? Besides taking care of your baby, and keeping the house picked up. I feel like I have so much free (boring) time, and it's driving me nuts feeling useless! Like my poor hubby is out working all day, and I just bum around.... Any of you all feel this way, too?
